Re: The Daleford Girl
(OOC: I was under the impression this was battle scale (1y per square). The Knights could not be moving 3 squares if they are 10yards each. I will assume for my turn that it is battle scale. I am hidden near the pen in any case.)
Nathan moves to attack H2 (in what I guess would be AA7.)
Reckless Attack with a pitchfork.
4D Fighting +1D Surprise +1D Reckless Attack +1B from my Cunning Pool. : 7d6k6 18
3 DoS vs CD7 Pitchfork Breaks
15 damage - 5 AR = 10 Damage.
I will assume he takes 3 Injuries, leaving him 8/9 HP.
Basilisk Venom Poison. V5/T2/F1/r : 5d6 22
3DoS Three Wounds inflicted. Loses the ability to speak. Endurance check for penalties not necessary.
Nathan:
CD2
Health 9/9
Superior Scale (AR 6)
Weapons: Superior Longsword, Superior LH Dagger, Lots of knives and daggers and a few other surprises.
Move 3/10
As the Hedge Knight moves to release the dogs upon their attackers, a small figure in black armor and a tattered cloak darts out from behind the pen brandishing a pitchfork. The Knight laughs at his attacker. A boy with a farm weapon. Ridiculous. He attacks like a farm boy too, completely open and defenseless in the attack. The tines of the weapon hit him with surprising force, enough to snap the tool at the head, but his armor and his training protect him from little more than a scratch.
Unfortunately for him... a scratch was all Nathan needed.
The Knight goes to snarl at the boy, but finds he can't. Pain rips through his body. His throat is clogged as blood pours from his mouth. The world goes silent and he can feel wetness pouring down his neck from his ears. blood drips down his face from his eyes. He takes only one staggered step before he falls over, dead.
"
Fascinating."
says Nathan.

Sure.. spend a Fatigue. -1 to the roll changes nothing in my post.

OOC:
- This is Battle scale. There are no units involved.
- If certain people were not far enough away, that is a problem with placement, not scale.
- Lucien and I are not affected. Lucien is well within bow range, and both of us were stealthed.
- It is extremely late in this thread to be having this discussion.
If there is an issue, I suggest that we just say that we were prepared enough to engage our enemy as we did and simply handwave it from here.

(OOC:Posting ahead of my turn but Luecian will be going with counterattack on Rd2. He will be providing cover support for Lily Daleford and anyone trying to usher her to safety. He will open fire on any opponent trying to attack her or take his attack after Red Dorro if no attack comes her way. Feel free to move on to the next initiative when my R2 turn comes around)

Re: The Daleford Girl
With the enemy all engaged, Trelane , though not the rider the others were, maneuvered his horse past the fighting, trying not to risk passing directly by any of the hedge knights to get as close as possible to Lily Daleford. he trusted that the others and his armour would protect him.
ooc
Use greater action for control and lesser movement of horse to move towards Lily past the fighting. He should have sufficient space to do so, but without galloping to avoid getting hit

Re: The Daleford Girl
OOC: Distances are fuzzy for those on horses, but I would say if Trelane double moves in round 1 and 2 that should put him beside Lilly at the end of round 2 at G2.
Lucien prepares to counterattack. (ie shoot anyone that so much as glances at Lilly.)
Corrine has initiative. Not sure her placement, but as she is firing at the boss with a bow, she could be anywhere within 100 yards.
Loreia is next, still on horseback, engaging Hedge Knight 4 (probably at H8 between her Sprint and his charge).

Re: The Daleford Girl
After shooting as she rode past, Corrine wheeled Jory round in a wide arc, and doubled back, riding steadily. She quickly took a second shot at Red Dorro, and her arrow was true, though ineffective. However, she passed a little too closely, making Jory lurch to one side, and she began to slip from the saddle.

Re: The Daleford Girl
Nathan stepped over the dead knight, idly tossing away the broken pitchfork haft as he did, and began to saunter over towards the Daleford girl, scooping up a handful of rocks as he went. The first two rocks he examined were clearly not to his satisfaction, as he tossed each away with a frown. The third, however, seemed suitable enough, and with a strong flick of the wrist, it gave a deeply satisfying clang off the helmet of the Knight fighting Lord Davain.
He wondered if he could skip a stone off the helmet of the Knight and the helmet of Lord Davain, but elected not to try, guessing his good Lord might not appreciate the spirit of investigation at this moment. Now skipping off the first Knight and then the second, that would be very hard....
He would need a much flatter rock for that.
OOC:
Move to C4. (I presume that since H3 charged he is no longer in D4)
Distract H3. : 4d6-1 13
H3 loses his Awareness to CD until the end of the next turn or until he is attacked.
CD returns to normal.
Nathan:
CD7
Health 9/9
Superior Scale (AR 6)
Weapons: Superior Longsword, Superior LH Dagger, Lots of knives and daggers and a few other surprises.
Move 3/10
Badger is next, then Lord Davain.

[OOC: Hedge Knight 3 and Red arleady acted. Post is on pg 8 4th post. I will go with the first action posted by Kevin.]
Hedge knight 3 successfully hit Davain on his charge. 2DoS. 8dmg - 10AR nothing goes threw.
The hedge knight charged head on at Davain, his sword harmlessly clanged of Davain's Armor. Davain raised his Greatsword, preparing to slash at his foe. The knight was about to bring his shield you to try and parry to blow, but at the last second seem distracted by a wierd ping against his helm. (Thank you Nathan. I believe this outs him at CR 5. Will edit post of need be.) Davain sword came down hard. Slicing threw the knights shoulder into his chest. Prying his sword from the corpse. Davain made his way over to assit Jorah with Red.

OOC: He is CD 2 unless he spends a fatigue to ignore his AP. As I believe he can do that at any time, even when it is not his turn, that is an option for him.
However, even if he does, he is still taking 24-5 damage. Three injuries reduces that to 10 damage which is still enough to kill him. H3 appears to be defeated. (I won't say dead, as the consequence of his defeat is up to Davain.)
