Even in war there are rules. Men needs places of tranquility, and these places are often found in sorrow during wartime. To make people question the reality of grief is a crime, even during war. The flags and courtesies of war has to be followed, if not, all these courtesies will mean nothing and war will become all the more bloody.

Riding to the field of battle Yoren takes good time to question passerbys, the local population has eyes, and their eyes have seen violence few can imagine. To have these eyes support his cause would surely be a victory.

Even with untrained eyes this looks like a battlefield indeed. However, spotting the non-obvious is harder.

The untrained eye sees, the trained eye observes, even though the sight and stench of a battlefield may drown out anything else, they still had to try to see through it.
