(D1, LM) Deep Dungeons
Ser Walton Dulver and Ser Garred Mountfort couldn't believe what they just experienced. 'Experienced' is the only word in indescribable world behind gates of Blackwoods' castle. Shock, from which two Dulvers' representants were now shaking off, was unbelievable. They decided to go into probably the only place, where people knew what they were doing during last time here: to dungeons. In assist of soldiers in Dulvers' colors, they finally approached the deepest and darkest dungeon of Raventree Hall. Ser Walton thought, that after days of travel he and his people look troubled, but nothing could prepare any man for view after opening the cell. Two emaciated bodies made of bones and skin quickly covered their eyes from bright light of torches. Cell was very small, with scarce padding on the ground. Already after smell it was easy to guess, that they were not given any bucket for their needs. -Stand up dead men.- Ser Garred nodded on prisoners with his head, and soldiers quickly charged into cell and moved them out. Ser Garred had some problems at stairs because of his limbing, but prisoners almost had to be dragged by Garred's men. Ser Walton wasn't glad about the smell and covered his nose when they were passing them. -At least we are lucky Blackwoods obviously didn't want to deal with them yet.- Garred denied pityingly -No, my lord... Blackwoods just chose more satisyfing way to deal with them. No shortcuts on way to other side.- He slapped Walton's arm and not waiting for young lord, followed the rest.
They finally stopped in interrogation room, with tools and table with belts, which could be easily turned into torture room. They had to go through the guards' room, from which Garred gently, but with voice not enduring opposition asked guards to leave them. When soldiers attached shackles and sit down Henryk and Arn at the table, moved aside, but not too far, to be ready for any order or reaction to following happenings. -Henryk and Arn...- Garred was weighting words for a moment. -You both know what is awaiting you. And nothing can be done, at least not without your good will...- His voice was emotionless, and his eyes were looking into theirs. He saw mix of determination and madness, obviously time in dungeons didn't suit them well. -It was outstandingly stupid to get caught...- With satisfaction he saw tense muscles on jaw of Henryk. He wanted to jump on talking man, but ferocious hit from Ser Walton Dulver put him back on his butt. Henryk wobbled unsteadily for a moment, but remained sitting. Ser Garred seemed to even not notice anything what just happened. -Especially for men so well prepared to just come into someone's chambers and just slain him.- Looked questioningly on prisoners -You don't want to talk, eh? We know that you had someone inside and you may believe me or not, but I see chance for you to switch places with him...- He saw a glance in Arn's eyes, and swelling on Henryk's. -But without your good will, there is nothing what can be done... I respect professionalism and professionalists... But I also spit on stupidity. There is clear border between those two qualities. Useful men are worth to keep them alive, but what to do with those who are not only useless but are also burden?- He opened his hands in father's gesture. -Let's be clear... You are dead. If you won't agree to talk? You will die in dark dungeon, drowning in your own shit. If you will manage to get away? There is no chance that Your previous friends will believe that in so long time you didn't say a word... And run away? From that hole in ground we just took you out?! Hah, would like to see them slapping your back with one hand and sticking into it dagger with another one!- Ser Garred was calm and steady. -But there is also third option. You can turn your back on your so called 'friends' and go out. With enough gold to run away enough far from your old friends and start new life... All we ask is information, given to us kindly. And exclusively... So how it will be?- Garred for the first time showed emotions smiling warmly.

Re: (D1, LM) Deep Dungeons
[OOC: as noted via PM, prisoner interrogation is handled via the main investigation roll, sorry. Still, I enjoyed the role-play ]
