Ben was not looking forward to speaking with Ser Myles, knowing full well, that he was displeased by Corrine's actions the previous day. He enters the hall with, Willum, Ellie and Three-fingered Bruce, Ellie's favorite guardsman. She had away of befriending the oddest people.

Ben sent word to Ser Myles requesting a brief audience. When the steward left to relay the request. The stout browned haired Bruce, cracked his remaining knuckles nervously. "
My lord if you not be needed us perhaps me and young Willum can make our way to the kitchen. They gotta have something better then that camp mess."

Ben nods with a smile. "
Certainly Bruce."
Ben was glad for them to not witness what was about to transpire. He was unsure of just how it would go.

Bruce puts the two fingers and thumb of his right hand on Willum's shoulder and guides him off. "
Now youngin' I can tell you about the story about the bite that took me fingers."

Ellie and Ben waited for Ser Myles.

Ser Myles approaches, escorted by his keen eyed master of arms, Ser Colyn Manderly.

"
Lord Marsten. Word has it you have made swift progress delivering justice to these lands. House Blackwood congratulates you on your victory."

House Blackwood's regent seems sincere and friendly in his greeting, despite Lady Marsten's ill-founded implications yesterday. Ser Myles is too well mannered to mention such trifles.

"
You cannot be held responsible for Pennytree, no matter what men say. A man cannot be in two places at once."

Ben gives his elder relation and house Blackwood's master at arms a small bow.

"
Good morning, gentleman. We have been merely swatting the flies who have landed on this open wound, but thank you."

His lack of acknowledgement of displeasure at yesterdays events cause Ben to wonder at what he was up to. Why hide it?

Ellie gives a cheerful smile and full curtsie before launching into a babbling string of noncoherent chatter that young girls are often known for. "
Ser Myles the last we met I was a babe. But I do say I can recall it and you only seem to have grown more handsome. Mother often talks of hansome Myles. She tells us the story's of your youth and with Aunt Morraine you three would terrorize the cooks. Have your heard aunt Morraine is doin better. That Northern fellow Daveth found a cure for ailments. He is a rather charming young man. We met him in the library at Riverrun last year. He help Ben locate a book. I mean my Lord, find a book. Isn't it odd that we are all family but must still use all the silly titles. I am sure if mother was here she would just call you Myles. Her and father recently visited Hartshorn. Have you ever been? To Hartshorn I mean.

[OOC: remember a DP can be used to shift someone's disposition, so even if you lose (not crunched it myself) you can yield and spend destiny, or just offer me a satisfyingly crunchy yield or storm out.

Or accept and take your intrigue lumps as Ser Myles' new friend!]
