Re: D3 Fields of Red
With his dying breath Merrick smells the death of his men, his entire life flashes before his eyes as he ferls the strength wane from his limbs. Defeat, darkness.

Jorah looked down on Merrick's corpse and shook his head. This had been a waste of men that could have been easily avoided if Merrick had not been a fool. Even so, his men had fought bravely for him and that was always a testament to a commander, even if it was a final one. Leaning down, he closed the man's empty eyes and arranged for respect for the dead to take place.
Rounding up the few survivors, he wanted to interrogate them to find out who originally hired them and why. Perhaps they knew nothing, but just maybe they could provide another piece to the puzzle of what was going on.

Actually, they were undamaged - that's two steps for two attribute increases.Ser Jorah Holt wrote:: 1d6 6 - as they are already elite, they get to improve a stat one step. Nice
: 1d6 1 -2 to training.... um, no thanks
: 1d6 6 +1 training, so totally worth the glory.
Jamys, every unit that participates in the battle has to check for their outcome - roll a d6 and compare it to the chart on pg. 189 (10-6: Survivors). As your infantry took no damage, you would use the undamaged column. Most likely, they will emerge unchanged, but a good roll (like ours) can improve them, and a bad roll (like the one I used a glory to reroll) can weaken them.

Very nice, they upgrade to Elite!
That gets you 4 stat increases, and their discipline TN drops to 0.
