Well, it's up to Reader, of course, but if you were simply chatting or doing RP, I would think you should be fine.

If you engaged in an Intrigue or some other game mechanics, then I would think the slot would be used, or that is my understanding. This is my first PbP so I am not sure how much latitude there is. I think you did something with Dunstan, didn't you?

I was in that thread very briefly (between a conversation/Intrigue in the previous slot and on my way to another meeting) but I never did any mechanics/Intrigue in that thread.

EA would be speeches in the great hall, and probably too early for dancing. An evening slot mayhaps? I believe the feast runs into ME.

Early afternoon to mid evening: Great Feast - Open
Early afternoon: Speeches in the Great Hall - I'll be a mute spectator
Late afternoon: The Burden of Leadership - Busy

Anything after this Open.
