[OOC: Challenge
Will (Courage/Dedication) TN 9
Will roll against Mushroom (dif. 9): 3d6 13
Persuasion (Incite) TN 12
Persuasion roll for Mushroom (dif. 12): 5d6 22]
Ser Raynald was merrily celebrating among the courtiers, his face reddened by wine. The knight shouted and bursted in loud laughter from time to time, comically. While the other nobles looked shocked by Marbrand's punch, Raynald was profoundly amused, having a really great time while repeatedly raising his glass in approval of the spectacle. It would be unfit for the Whoresons to attend to such a prestigious event, so Raynald left them drinking in a tavern outside. Surprisingly Raynald was in his good mood this day, joking with men and being extremely polite with women. He was particularly focused on the fool, to the point of welcoming the foul mouthed dwarf with a brotherly arm.
"What a man! Hah! Here Mushroom, take a drink! Let's toast to your bloodied face. Tonight you can say that you fought a Kingsguard and lived to tell the tale!” After a few joyful comments, Raynald dragged the dwarf to a better place to talk. “One could think that it would be wiser to avoid such big game and focus your wits to easier prey... I see your intent, Mushroom! We all know Marbrand cannot truly retaliate. You’re the King’s Fool, for god’s sake! The man is ill tempered and vicious with a sword, true, but none of that matters as his fury is impotent against your mighty tongue, my friend" Raynald pointed with his cup towards Marbrand. "I know very well how tasteful it is to flavor the danger. But sweeter still is to fight knowing the outcome to be certain victory. Strike again, my friend, for Marbrand dug his own disgrace. He may very well raise his hand towards you, but what is a bloody lip for you is a major wound to his honor. Look around, the whole court has disapproved his reaction. Do it, and after this night Marbrand will have to replace the burning tree of his sigil for a burning arsehole!"
