Okay!  By good fortune, every PC starts off with 2 rounds against Average knights.
Agility 3
Animal Handling 2 (Ride 1B)
Athletics 3
Endurance 3
Fighting 4 (Long Blades 2B, Spears 2B)
Status 3
Warfare 3

A Hedge knight from the books has Mail armour, so let's say they have that, as well.

There's five of you, so, would each of you mind controlling the opponent of the person above you in the list above (with Baelon controlling Aerion's)?  Start posts in the Coldbrook tourney forum as [Joust, R1]Then your character name.

When you've finished Round 1, feel free to move straight on to round 2 (assuming you won), but this time, you control the opponent of the person below you.

With fighting 4, the average knights cannot hit anyone that has or can (with defensive) get a 21 or higher passive ride. That means such characters cannot lose those two rounds, so I see no reason we should clutter up the forum with threads.

Assuming the same stats as the Drakeson Tourney, that would apply to Baelon and Aerion. Possibly others too, if they improved their passive ride between then and now.

Also, Alfred has not made the transition from the old forum, so I think he can safely be removed from the list?

Yeah. And only needing a 9 to hit them back, I feel pretty confident calling both of them "one pass" opponents for Aerion, too. Gotta get that streak going again. Wink

Anyone mind whipping me up a couple of names for those two? You mentioned an NPC list?

"Ser" David Rivers a hedge knight that was never knighted at all but was previously a common bandit that killed a knight returning home from a recent tournament with his winnings.

Bartholomew Forrest a former farmer that one night came upon a man badly injured. He took the man home and looked after him until he died a few days later. In that time the man who was a knight confided in the farmer about where his belongings were and to take them as compensation for looking after him.

The NPC list I have is the list of opponents from round 4 onwards (round 3 is against Knights of Quality). So, yeah, great stuff Darron, I must admit that coming up with decent names is something I have difficulty with.

And -- just to make sure -- we're going mail (500) and rounsey (50) for them, right?

Generic knights typically have splint, which is much more protective and valued twice as much (1000ss)

I was going with Mail by:
A Hedge knight from the books has Mail armour, so let's say they have that, as well.
...so was mostly double checking on the Rounsey bit. But I won't say no to splint, if that's what Daveth decides. Just figured we'd all want clarity/confirmation either way.

I have to admit, the Mail was just a guess, based on what I saw in the book. If generic knights have splint, then splint it is.

Given that there was no objection to Rounsey, I assume that's correct for an Average knight.

average knights are a step up socially (and wealth wise) than hedge knights, but Hedge Knights are a step up in skills - they aren't coddled by having three hots and a cot. :p

After David Rivers and Bartholomew Forrest: named the other average knights, all northern (save Lothston and Darkwood)

Vs Loreia
1 Ser Lerris Lothston: first cousin once removed to Lord Lothston's heir (Lucas).
2 Ser Asher Tallhart: cousin unworthy of mention.

Vs Jon Templeton
3 Ser Tylar Woods: knight serving House Glover.
4 Cedric Ryswell: squire in training (House Reed).

Vs Ben
5. Ser Joss Poole: knight serving House Stark.
6. Devron Darkwood: squire in training (House Trant).

Aging Lerris Lothston at 20 years. Book canon: year 151, Aegon is caught in bed with Falena Stokeworth (26), who is wed to Lucas Lothston. House Lothston was founded that year, and Lucas became the first Lothston to rule Harrenhall.

Create your threads so the person below you can roll for your opponents. (Rolling for: Loreia-->Ben-->Jon-->Loreia)

Thinking up some names for Round 3 (Knights of Quality).

Ser Rodrik Bigglestone
Ser Jaime Blanetree
Ser Gerion Deddings
Ser Uthor Pemford
Ser Raymun Vance (of the Atranta Vances)

Aerion, feel free to grab one and make a thread for your R3 match.
I'll take one at random: selection for Baelon's R3 opponent: 1d5 3 Ser Gerion Deddings it is.

Indeed. The real competition starts in round 4 as per the below comment by Daveth:
Daveth Coldbrook wrote:The NPC list I have is the list of opponents from round 4 onwards (round 3 is against Knights of Quality).

A Grand Tourney draws "thousands of knights" so even 3 rounds of nobodies is a bit slim... if memory serves, Daveth said elsewhere that round 4 would be the top 32, so there's plenty more jousting to be done.

I was actually refering to myself as the jabroni/nobody. Daveth never declared who was to roll opponents for that round so I was hesitant to proceed. Thank you though, Baelon.
