Pictures for NPCs

I often write posts from a phone/tablet, so pasting in images/image links isn't practical and slows the game anyway.

However, these add a lot of flavour and make characters memorable.

Does anyone have any experience in setting up a wiki or something at obsidian portal, mainly just for NPCs? I could experiment with my google drive too.

Suggestions/volunteers warmly received.

I used to be a web programmer, so I have the skills, but I won't have the time until next month...

You could also set up a dedicated NPC forum with threads for each house/orgnaization, one post per NPC with a pic, description, and any generally known info.
Of course, it would be a task to get it set up initially, but it could be done a little at a time, as time allows.

Here's something that may help. I used filtering effects provided for free by this website:


You basically have to scroll through to find what you want in "
photo effects and filters"
, click on the sample image link for the filter of your choice, upload an image at the bottom of the page, and mess with the options. You don't get to see your results until you click on "
view result"
, but you can click back to the previous page and keep messing without having to reupload the image. I made my current portrait with the 'realistic color drawing' filter.
