Some characters does not have avatars yet. If that's because you have not found any yet, maybe posting here might make the rest of us come up with suggestions?

Also goes for anyone who's open to other ideas for portrait than their current one.

I don't really see Theo's pic as Cullen so much as 'evil alt universe Cullen'. I can't see Theomore differently.

I'll confess that I also have personal comfort reasons for being less favourable towards that particular change, but I acknowledge that it's outwith my control.

Ruining Cullen? No spoilers though, since I only buy games when they have dropped to 1/5th of their original price.

Interestingly, Tom Hiddleston isn't that far removed from my avatar in appearance, depending on the pic. But I don't like photos and pencil drawings for avatars, so selection is limited.

However, the actor would be a very nice fit to play Theomore in the movie adaption of dragonsdance, there's Loki of course, but I kinda like this little snippet better:

Afternoon everyone, newest member here. I could use a little help with my avatar. I'm trying to find a picture of a knight...kind of along the lines of Luke Evans from the movie Dracula Untold.

The pictures I've found are giving me trouble with uploading onto here. Does anyone have a picture that would work and is sized down to 150 or know of any sites that do and are easy to use?

MS Paint can be surprisingly good for downscaling if you know the tricks.
GIMP (Gnu Image Processor? Something like that) is a photoshop-like opensource (free!) program, but it is not terribly user friendly.

If you post a link to the image you want to use, I (or someone else) can try to cut it down for you without making it too grainy.

I think I am going to try working to get this down as much as possible to avatar dimensions(I did a quick one, will have to see how it turns out). I like the full better but have to work with the space we have. It's got the right coloring,some beard and even some light scarring there on his right cheek. The bow looks pretty awesome in that picture too.

I think your character will look like that in 2-3 years, thankfully we will be aging as the campaign goes on. My character will be in her early 30's if she lives to see the end of the civil war. The way you cropped him now is just fine I think. A portrait should be more about the face than the overall shape and appearance of your character. That whole picture shrunk down as it is would make him look like just another stranger from a distance.

I like to scale and crop as necessary to get in at least a gap showing the some or all of the breast, just below the base of the neck, with some room above the head at the top. How much tends to be determined by the upper limit on dimensions allowed by the forum.

I'd like to make him look a bit more 'cultivated'. Maybe a better groomed beard or only a mustache...
Maybe it is enough to get rid of the helmet.
