(Anyone given thought to whether or not House Tullison would want to give their maester leave to go north?
Just saying.)

(Yes, I have mentioned Lord Tullison would probably disallow this, and was about to mention the need of his consent. Still, it's not out of character to have this scene, considering it's an impromptu meeting.)Theomore Tullison wrote:(Anyone given thought to whether or not House Tullison would want to give their maester leave to go north?

(That could be an issue, but as they say: everyone has a price...)

OOC: An intrigue between Dunstan and Yoren should be required, but I'm sure we can agree to terms. By simply asking for a comfortable travel and all the details, you're selling yourself short. Would you want knowledge that Yoren can offer in the immediacy? Perhaps extra stops, slowing our journey? I'm trying.

Re: The maesters apprentice. (d9)
(OOC: Colton actually finds the idea of the expedition intriguing, for all his complaining. He's just genuinely worried about his aptitude to physically make the journey. He is, indeed, quite old, and trekking north of the wall isn't for the faint of heart or body.)
The maester snickers at the sound of 'proxy carriage'. "
That sounds terribly uncomfortable."
He shakes his head, than waves his hand forward impatiently. "
Alright, alright, that just might do. We will see about this proxy when the time comes. There is still the matter of Lord Tullison, I'm afraid. As his maester assigned, now, my duty is first and foremost to his House. They'd have to be willing to spare me before I can compromise further. If I am needed at Mountain's Reach... then there is no way for me to join you."
He gives a contented shrug.
(Counter-offer accepted.)

OOC: Dunstan didn't allow you, sorry about that.
"
I'll talk to him, he may not have the best head in the seven kingdoms, but I think he'll see the use of this expedition."
Yoren smiles as he rises from his seat. "
Hope we will meet again before too long."
Yoren stretches out his hand to shake the hand of the maester.

As they shake hands, Loreia is out of the room and taking off, glad to be rid of that scene.
