Re: Lane 3 Lord Rickart Nayland & Ser Niall Lucas
While Ser Dromen opts for a defensive approach, Ser Kevan decides for a balanced approach. Both knights hit their targets, but neither blow is particularly strong. And so, both knights remain seated and a second round is required to decide this match

Ser Dromen slowly grows more confident after keeping his seat, abandoning his focus on defence in the second pass.

Re: Lane 3 Lord Rickart Nayland & Ser Niall Lucas
The two knights ride a second time and both lances break again. Challenger and champion are even after two rounds and a third pass is needed. The wedding guests are unsure, whether the Marsten knight is tiring after all having to deal with so many challengers, or if it is Ser Dromen, who is actually better than given credit for...

This was Ser Dromen's chance for glory, if he could but seize it! Emboldened, he attempted his most aggressive tactics so far...

Re: Lane 3 Lord Rickart Nayland & Ser Niall Lucas
It was his thirst for glory, that proved to be Ser Dromen's downfall. Standing high in the saddle, it did not take a hard hit from Kevan's lance to leave him toppling from his horse, where he fell face down in the mud. His own lance was skillfully defelcted by the Marsten knight, who was holding on to his saddle.
From R2: 18damage-11=7 ->

2 DoS from Roote: 18dmg-11=7 ->
1/12
Now, we have 12 regular knights and 3 hedge knights.
Regular knight: PR9 / Keeping only 3 dice in the attack
Hedge knight: PR12 / Keeping only 3 dice in the attack
I ride defensively to give me a PR of 17, which allows for only 1 DoS by my opponent. Also, I have a lucky reroll and a BoTA bonus (I think I did not use that so far, will check). ->
Can I roll these challenges in a more efficient matter (e.g. 12#xd6k3+2 and if appropriate ride checks on my side, or something like that?)

[OOC: That's exactly the way to handle this. Choose a stance and churn out a bunch of rolls. You/another PC can roll for your opponents.
Good luck - hopefully statistics, your benefits and destiny can see Ser Kevan through!]

Re: Lane 3 Lord Rickart Nayland & Ser Niall Lucas
Can we agree, that it would be the most appropriate for them to go aggressive to hopefully get 1 DoS? If so, I would churn through the rolls...

OOC: They'll go high in the saddle and hope Ser Kevan's lance is ill-placed.

I need a ride check for knight 2,4,5,7,8, 10,11,12 ->
8 ride checks at TN9
: 8#6d6k3 15 18 14 15 17 14 15 17

I am not falling in any first round.
Now, checking of any of the opponents make it through round 1:
: 3d6k2-2 4, forgot the 10#, so 11 to come:
: 11#3d6k2-2 5 3 9 5 8 8 9 6 4 4 10 ->
Knights 4,8 and 12 would stay in the saddle vs 1DoS, but as rolled above, they all get hit with more than 1 DoS
Now, on to the Hedge knights:
: 3#7d6k3+2 16 19 18 ->
the second and the third hit at 1 DoS

: 3#3d6 13 6 8 (forgot the -2, but it would not matter]
I hope I rolled all of that correct. Will add some description, once somebody confirmed my calculations / rolls

Re: Lane 3 Lord Rickart Nayland & Ser Niall Lucas
After Ser Kevan dispatched his first opponents, having had to ride multiple rounds against some of them, things became significantly easier once Ser Dromen was taken care of. None of the numerous challengers afterwards stood a chance against the Marsten knight as he defeated all of them in their first pass. Some lances did not even touch him, while other opponents managed weak blows to his shield, but all of the landed on the dirt of the tourney ground. It was at the end of the third day, when Kevan finally defeated his last challenger - an unknown hedge knight riding a scrubby little rounsey - and was named one of the five champions.
