What style of Narrations would you most prefer to see?

1.  A Narrator Team of 2,3, or 4 Narrators.

All would have equal power.  All would have to NPC their characters.

2.  A Head Narrator with chosen Assistants
(ie moderators).

Head Narrator is final arbiter all aspects of the game and would have to NPC their character.  Assistants would have specific tasks and continue to play their character.

3.  A Story Narrator and a Mechanics Narrator

Story Narrator would be the final stop for all things story.  Mechanics Narrator would be the final stop for all things rules wise.  Both would NPC their characters.

4.  A Head Narrator chooses a Story Assistant and a Mechanics Assistant.

Head Narrator is the final arbiter.  Story Assistant to handle Intrigues and NPCs.  Mechanics Assistant to handle combat of all sorts.  Head Narrator would have to NPC his character.

5.  Other

If you have a style that is substantially divergent from those styles listed, choose other and post it here.

Poll closes in 10 days.

No offense intended, but I think I'll be waiting to see what happens in the other thread before I cast a vote. I'd like to see what Reader and some other players have to say, first.

Not even for your own idea?  Very Happy

I will be honest.  This time around I will not be waiting for weeks and months.  Poll is set for 10 days.  That's plenty of time for the active players to make a choice.  If someone comes up with a better way forward than is presented here, that's fine.  Otherwise, I expect we will have to move forward, or not at all.

I already voted, for what it is worth though I could see the story assistant and Mechanics assistant still run their PCs and if needed the head narrator could run the mods intrigues or combats, I know it was not specifically stated in this poll like for the option #2 does not mean it could not happen, but that is my 2 cents

Especially for my own idea. I'm not so arrogant to think that I always have the right answer, especially when it impacts others. Wink

Oh, I completely agree. I just would have liked to see a day or two of discussion before voting started. An ill-informed electorate does not do itself any favors.

Thing is, there's not much more information to go on. We're all trying to find our way in the dark. I also do not intend to hang on for months without knowing what's happening. I don't expect Reader will have strong feelings about the format we choose.

Kind of like Brexit... and probably just as binding.

Discussion in the other thread is still welcome. If someone suffers a stroke of genius, that will be great. Certainly any of the four listed can be tweeked, but I don't see any major alternatives beyond the ones already given. I would want to see the game moving forward again by the end of January. I don't think that is unreasonable.

I agree on wanting to be moving forward by the end of the month. The longer things take, the more attrition we suffer.

I had already expressed which one I thought was the best so I voted already.
