It was already late, when Kevan left the loud discussions at the Tulison Pavilion. All the excitement form the party, earlier in the day was gone and now his mind was entirely focused on the trial tomorrow. He was approaching the Darry camp, hoping to find young James Darry.
Maybe my friendliness towards him already reaps its profits

[OOC: I guess James Darry and Lionel Darry are related, but Lionel's actions do not represent the view of the whole house ]

Ser Darry sat outside his tent even at this late hour, drinking straight from a bottle of wine to numb the pain in his broken fingers.

Oh no, I hope he is not yet too drunk!

"
Ser Darry, I see the unfortunate consequences of our match are heavily bothering you. Let me tell you once again that I am sorry. Do you mind if I keep your company? I have heard rumours about Ser Lionel Darry, and yesterday, one of his captured henchmen tried to escape. How is he related to the family? Or is he at all?"

He realized the poor boy probably had bigger problems at the moment thant his troublesome relatives, but time was pressing and he at least had to try.

"
Ah my conqueror!"
he sounds merry, but not insensible yet.

"
Ser Lionel? A second, cousin, or was it third,"
he slurs. "
From the Darrys of Grenward, as were. He was religious man before the Coldbrooks took the castle, but supposedly his mind snapped during the siege."

He leans forward as if to whisper, but his drunken rambling ring out acround the camp.

"
He's still a hero to sum. Cut his way through the Northerners while shouting the Warrior's praise. Smallfolk say he's blessed by the Seven and no tree-worshipper can harm him."

He grimaces and looks down at his injured hand.

"
The marks of war, some are scarred forever, even if it is not visible to others"

He chose to ignore Ser James' comment about the smallfolks' beliefs, instead focused on the family ties...

"
Did he leave his family after that or does he still keep company with the rest of House Darry?"

He closely observed the young knight as he spoke, trying to find out James' feeling regarding Lionel's action.

"
Disowned by the main branch. The Darrys of Grenward were disgraced by their support for the Faith Militant. We had no desire to lose Castle Darry as well and took no part in that folly."

Again, loud enough for the whole camp to hear, with the fierce conviction of a man in his cups.

"
NO PART I SAY! You hear me?"
