[ooc]Open to anyone that wishes to interact with my character during this 3 time slots[/ooc]

Walking through the markets, making a good bargain You first have to let them have a sweet deal make enough profit for expenses and pocket change, then the next time when they want your wares you drive a hard bargain but always under their current supplier so they can't deny it's still a fair deal, not a single store is left without the Summer Island touch. Valuable hardwoods enough to build weapons or furniture, selling bloodwood, mahogany, purpleheart, and blue mahoe.

Then Riackard goes to sell cinnamon and pepper, for a bargain Cutting the middle man is always a good deal, little profit today a lot more tomorrow.

Almost sold the jewelry, but he traded that one for a favor. That did not stop him from selling few small gemstones mostly sapphires and pearls.

Dunstan arrives at the market in his simple clothes. After all, when you bargain and wear lordly vest embroidered with gold and various painted silk tunics of Dorne, the merchants tend to give you a much steeper price.
Rough spun ordinary tunic will do this time, with plain brown trousers and a dirk at his hip.

Randomly approaching Riackard, he smiles a wide smile

"
Excuse me good man, do you know of a good horse merchant in this market? I'm looking to purchase a fine destrier."
he said.

Not that his courser lacked anything, but he enjoyed jousting and riding more and more, and wanted to get acquainted with horseflesh some more.

"
Well yes my lord, let me take you to the man you seek, I'm sure I saw him this way. Pity I did not bring anything for horses to sell, but if you are interested in buying some decent things to give to a lady or as a gift my lord I have somethings left from the Summer Islands"
a big smile in his face.

Dunatan wondered how did he recognize him as Lord, after all he tried his best to look as a commoner.

Must be he saw me during the joust

"
I thank you for your help. And yes, I am interested in exotic goods of the Summer Isles! Do you have their famous longbows?"
he asked, excited.

"
I am Dunstan by the way"
he offered him his hand

"
Dunstan...
as if waiting for a surname that never came You walk and talk refined enough, guess I owe you an apology then if I confused you for a lord, but not a problem good man coin speaks louder than names for me, just call people that are educated lords, and they will correct you if you are wrong, or they won't if they like to get their ass kissed"
finally realizing the hand that was offered, and shakes his hand firmly and well "
Sorry I spoke so much I almost didn't notice it, but you speak of the golden bows, the best bows you can have in the world Dunstan, but they don't sell you a bow"
a glint in his eyes "
That doesn't mean you can't buy goldenheart to have one made for you, of course I need to buy some iron other than the Iron Islands to trade with them, of course they have other hardwoods you can buy or barter if you have iron which somehow they don't have"
as they keep on walking "
I can help you get a good deal to if you need my help, but if you know of anyone that deals with iron, let me know and I can have good business for him with the Summer Islands. Different types of hardwoods, gemstones and exotic animals and furs"

Dunstan decided to ignore any talk of station for now.

"
Aye, Dunstan. And what name did your parents bestow upon you?"
he asked.

"
Since you so graciously offered to help me in my pursuit of the best destrier of the Riverlands, I will drop a hint a trader as yourself might find useful. There is a man at the tourney, one Aeron Sand, he is a capable man and specialises in iron too. Best iron in the Riverlands."

After looking around the stands for a while, Dunstan asked once more

"
Are you sure you don't have a one single goldenbow? I'd pay heftily for it, it is meant to be a gift for a fine friend. Best friend in the Riverlands"
he smiled.

"
Riackard, I'm sure at some point my father must have names me fucker, as some of his sentences ended on boy or that"
laughing at his joke.

"
Aeron Sand... he is from Dorne then?"
shakes his head "
Tough business to do with them as they also sell exotic things, and if he sell iron, than even tougher bargain, I rather buy from his supplier and cut the middle man. Middle men take the biggest cut and the lesser risk of transactions, but sometimes they are necessary evils that I like to avoid unless there is no other option"
his good humor ruined for a moment.

"
They won't sell you a golden bow Dunstan, each golden bow is kind of like a heirloom and an honor to possess, they would sell you their wives before they sell you a bow. Oddly enough they will sell you goldenheart wood so you can make your own bow, so if you wish to commission such a thing it can be arranged, but I would not carry a treasure of that magnitude on me, it would cost as much as buying a Valyrian sword if I had a golden bow so it would be well guarded when I bring it, or at least the goldenheart for you to have it made."
his mind wonders "
I have a vision of bringing summer to the Riverlands, I want to make Riverrun a Summer Islands trade center like Old Town, so everyone can benefit from it, since the Riverlands connect to everywhere."

"
He is from Dorne, yes."
Dunstsn says.

"
As for the opportunity of purchasing rare items, what can you offer? If the exotic Summer Islander bow is not available, what is? I am looking to buy anything peculiar and unusual."

"
Depends what you mean by that, I can offer some hardwoods for example, bloodwood, pink ivory and ebony. Mahogany is highly prized for furniture, it makes anything made of it more exquisite, while the other hardwoods are just naturally colored, which many Houses buy to decorate certain parts of their households. One man even bought enough bloodwood to turn them into axes and bows, very visual and imposing, but it is truly just decoration and show of wealth"
coming closer to Dunstan "
Jewels I have some pearl rings, sapphire necklace and earrings, the rubies I only have one left and that is a tiara, since I already sold the sapphire tiara already"
pointing finally to their intended place to buy a horse "
As for animal, I didn't bring any with me or furs, except for what I have for my self, since all the hardwoods take a lot of place and they sell faster, even if the animals give me a bigger income, they are a pain in the arse to hold on to until you sell them, so jewels, hardwoods and animals only if I already have a buyer ready, otherwise no"

Septon Arlyn wanders around the market, speaking to many of the merchants hawking their wears, looking for a merchant whom would give him the best deal on substance for the worthy poor, beautiful book stowed securely in his satchel. He sees the young man with a lordly bearing talking to a strangely dressed iron born. Seeming to haggle like fishwives over the price of trout heads. Septon Arlyn smiles. It looks like they are having some good business dealing. Unequal negotiations rarely sound so loudly, with one person getting the upper hand without the other knowing any better.

Looking inside his bag he comes to a small ebony chest, nodding to himself and smiling "
Here it is"
the box was simple, just made of ebony wood, with simple delicate designs. The inside of the box was a red velvet cushion were the silver tiara rested. It was delicate and thin, discrete but exquisite, like wind made form carrying a small ruby in the middle "
It is a very decent token to give to a lady"
handing the box to Dunstan to hold and look at the tiara himself.

Looking at Dunstan doubting he has the money to pay for it so he will ask for more than it's worth to take his measure "
100 stags and you can keep the case Dunstan. I wager this gift will make a lady happy very soon"
winking at Dunstan "
Now to get you that horse before I make you buy the rest of my wares"

"
Aye! A fair price Riackard."
he says, we've got a deal.

Dunstan pays the trader eagerly and lifts up the box.

"
It really is something, the box and the tiara. It will make a great gift to a certain Lady.

Snaping out of his thoughts he says

"
Sure, let's move on, I do need a better horse. Mine own is known to have wibbly legs, and he lets strangers near him way too much"
he says, refering to the incident during the joust, not knowing it never truly happened..
