he cocks his head. "
Is some heretofore unknown rival of mine about to name you Queen of Love and Beauty?"
there's a slight smile, but with a bit of an edge to it, like he's not completely discounting the possibility.

I have a good memory, Master Daveth, rest assured of that."
Dyana smiles at him. "
If it will take that long for us to meet again, then by the time we do, I'll handily be able to best you at the Cyvasse board. You won't be forgotten."
She takes a sip of her wine. "

She echoes with an open-mouthed smile.

An eyebrow perks up at the question, and her flush flushes further. "
Ha, a heretofore unknown rival of yours, Daveth, naming me Queen of Love and Beauty? I don't dream of ever holding that title, you know. Though Lady Sofia took to it well, I hear."
She chuckles. "
I sometimes entertain a ravenous thirst for wine, is all. For no particular cause. Wish that it were, a reason to celebrate this much. But, alas, it's just wine."
She sips some more, and grins at him.

Daveth nods. "
Sometimes that's enough."
with a small smile. "
Wine is its own justification."
he raises his glass in a small toast and takes a sip.

"
For two to drink is levity;
for one, tragedy."
he mutters quietly, almost to himself, before continuing in a more normal voice. "
I wish your house good fortune in the melee tomorrow."
he proposes a more serious toast with a small smile. "
Though not so much that your star eclipses ours, of course. We Coldbrooks have a reputation to keep up."
