In the seventh month of 125AL, ravens begin bringing messages to the friends, family, and allies of House Marsten who are not resident at Hartshorn, announcing the birth of Corrine &
Ben's daughter, Bethany, and that both mothrr and child are well.

Bethany Marsten, even at four months old, shows character. She has her mother's black hair, and her father's blue-grey eyes. She has full, pink cheeks, and an inquisitive nature. She shows curiosity and joy at new things, and mercifully possesses a relatively mild temperament, and a penchant for sleeping. Her fascination with her surroundings leads her mother to think she'll be a brave explorer when she gets old enough to walk.

When the time comes for Corrine &
Ben to leave, to serve the King's Justice, it is with great sorrow, as they leave their beloved daughter behind.
