Re: [D1, ME]Plots and Prisoners[Closed]
Luecian seems to take some strength from the Septon's words."
While no great knight like yerself m'lord, the septon has the right of it. When I've not had to lend me bow to solve bandit problems, I'm a noted hunter of all types of games on Dulver lands. Yes Ser indeed, that I am. That I am."
He repeats as if convincing himself.

Re: [D1, ME]Plots and Prisoners[Closed]
[Read Target gives your choice of technique, which presumably is charm, you have a technique even though you do not roll influence.]
"
Oh, I don't know about great, I have done a few things worth noting, nothing others could not accomplish, surely."
The others tends to lack both the initiative and vision needed to so, well that was their problem. "
Truthfully, I prefer to pass quietly throughout the scrolls of history as a man that performed his duty to his house and his king, and finding enjoyment in between."
"
A hunter, is it? I get the feeling by your words that you are not entirely unfamiliar with those of noble blood?"
ID 11
Disposition: Indifferent
Composure: 9/9
[url=deception-convince][/url]: 6d6k5+5 29 That's 4 DoS for 12 influence, 8 after DR.

"
I believe that he participated in the hunt at the tournament of river run. I think he was ablt to capture some game"
Offers Septon Arlyn
[url=plots and prisoners round 2 assist][/url]: 5d6 23 - 4 = 19
assist +2
if I could mollify
(19 vs TN 12 = 7 = 2 DOS)
5+2 = 7 composure regained

Re: [D1, ME]Plots and Prisoners[Closed]
(OOC-without a mollify there, I'm pretty much done(1/9) . I can take frustration but then I realistically have no chance to influence Ser Theomore at all. Leaning towards putting a yield offer but let me consider.)

Re: [D1, ME]Plots and Prisoners[Closed]
(I could attempt a mollify but that roll would only heal 7 composure due to my injuries and fatigue. Ser Theomore is kinda a beast in intrigue, It would be a hard match for even myself to beat him at full health.

Re: [D1, ME]Plots and Prisoners[Closed]
(Well, a mollify would negate most of the influence dealt, it's the most effective option available for Arlyn, the tactic is going to drag the intrigue out for a long time most likely.)

Re: [D1, ME]Plots and Prisoners[Closed]
(OOC-Its unlikely I'm going to win and it really was from the start. It wouldn't bother me to drag it out a few more rounds via mollifys etc but I understand if people feel that might be wasted time/efforts. I'm not going to quit as I feel that's cheap since I initiated it, so I'll prob offer up a yield offer. I think the best shot I had was some lucky rolls along with some fast talk/mollify/assist actions from the septon to give me fighting shot.)

"
I've known Ser Walton since we were mite boys m'lord even if we grew apart some as we grew. And his mother, Lady Dulver is a blessing and always treated me right kind. I met a few great lords and ladies at the tourney last year, Lady Corrine Marsten and the now Lord Marsten being two I reckon you might be familiar with Ser. Me grandpappy gave me some advice to start but mostly I been watchin and learnin when I could, part of the trick to any hunt is trying to blend in to yer surroundings. Not that this be a hunt at all mlord, me own simple mind tends to be relating things to what it knows. Surely its been a pleasure to add yerself to me acquaintance."
(OOC-If not we not agree on a yield I will try a manipulate action to try to force Ser Theo to defeat me with that action. I'm not sure which you were aiming for.)
Yield offer: Theomore achieves his objective but with a convince outcome along with an offer to trade stories over a tankard sometime.
Initiative-Status-Ser Theo: 2d6 9
Objective: Friendship of sorts
Intrigue Defense: 8(12 for rd 2 only)
Disposition: Indifferent
Composure 1/9

Re: [D1, ME]Plots and Prisoners[Closed]
OOC: Yield accepted.
"
I see, it is Ser Walton that leads the Dulver delegation here, yes?"
Theomore thought he noticed that earlier in the day. "
If you are like Ser Mather, then I have a feeling you could be an invaluable man to have in his counsel."

Re: [D1, ME]Plots and Prisoners[Closed]
[Also, the presence of Haelis is confirmed, so you can use his 6d6k4 in treat injury, if reading the rules in your favor, he could do diagnose 5d6k4 for +1D if he beats the TN by 5, cuts from axes probably counts as obvious for TN0. I am not sure if reader would support that interpretation, so might be worth checking. The treat injury roll is probably TN9 because you did some traveling, it's made 24h after you got the injuries.]

Re: [D1, ME]Plots and Prisoners[Closed]
(Ooc I think that is correct, plus it states that the treat injury roll eats up 4 hours in a day, so we would have to choose the timeslot

"
Yes it is Ser Walton Dulver whom leads House Dulver in this investigation. Lord Dulver felt that it would be a good opportunity for his son to show his political tactfulness as well as a good opportunity to lead our House,"
replies Septon Arlyn. "
It was his decision to stay under the kings banner, all the better to not be swayed by the various houses and not let political leanings interfere with these proceedings,"
remarks Septon Arlyn proudly. "
Where is it that the Tullisons are staying?"

"
My lord nephew and lady niece stays at Raventree to honor their lord cousin, while I have taken lodging at Warrior's Seat to show that we are mindful of the fact that there are two sides to these proceedings"
Theomore leaves out the part where he went there primarily to see who else also did. "
The men are camped out here with the rest."

"
That is well, I will see your Maester on the marrow,"
said
Says Septon Arlyn with a slight grunt of pain. "
Hopefully he will get me right as rain, these injuries could really hamper my investigations."
Septon Arlyn mutters, almost to himself.

Luecian adds his comments to those made by the septon."
I will also stop by yer maester as I can Ser, again thanks for your generosity."
He adds a smile and a question to Ser Theomore. "
Will you be attending Lord Bracken's hunt on the morrow? Mayhaps I will see you then if so."

"
I am afraid that I have an investigation to attend to, else I might ask to join to steal some of your hunting glory"
Theomore smiles mischievously "
But I do wish good fortune upon you, master Luecian."
"
Perhaps if you return with a story to tell, I might buy some of the innkeeps finest if you would like to share it."

"
The wishes be appreciated Ser. I'm sure yourself will not be needing it but best of luck on yer own day's investigation. This mess is turning out to be a tough hide to skin."
He turns his best smile on Ser Theomore before assuring him. "
Surely I would never turn down a good drink from a man such as yourself, and don'y ya worry Luecian Longbow be always comin back with a story or two!"
He begins to lightly chuckle while finishing the last word of his sentence.Truth be told, its damn unlikely I'd turn down a drink from any man or woman but no need to tell him that.

"
Then I trust that you will perform deeds worthy of a good telling."
Theomore has a feeling that the investment of good drink will pay off somehow. "
Or make up something better."
