(D1: EA, Open) Center of Dulvers' Camp
Impacts of steel interspersed with thuds, and from time to time scream of pain- that was the music of Dulvers' camp today. Uncommonly high and muscular lad with bastard sword was dodging and bouncing away hits from two opponents, effectively counter-attacking whenever saw the opening in their defences. Beads of sweat were shining on his naked torso. He was holding firmly his weapon and even untrained eye could see that his skills are far beyond average. Some other soldiers were standing in circle cheering and encouraging fighters, laughing whenever Ser Walton humiliated one of them. From time to time, they were making small breaks to rest and drink, or change opponents, so the guys from inside could have some laugh also. From time to time there were some interuptions to have a few words with passers-by, but main focus of while was on fighting training, soldiers' daily routine. Even on king's mission. Or especially on king's mission, as You will never know when sharp sword in firm hands will be useful.
[OOC: Feel free to jump in, present character is Ser Walton]

Re: Center of Dulvers' Camp (EA, Open)
For a few minutes, Ser Kevan was standing in the shadow of another nearby tent, content to observe the training drill. And what he saw was impressive, to say the least. Kevan knew his own skills were better suited for a fight from horseback, though he thought of himself as at least capable with a sword as well. Compared to this mountain of a man however, he was certain to look like a peasant with a stick...
He waited until the men made another break, before approaching them.
"
Very impressive Ser! Very impressive indeed. I take it you expect problems that can only be solved with a sharp blade?"

Ser Walton raised his hand to command a break in fight. His opponents were breathing heavily, but young lord didn't show much fatigue. -Why trouble with knot if you can cut it? And our Master at arms was always repeating that men are like swords, they also can get rusty.- Ser Walton smiled and reached out his hand towards knight -I'm afraid we didn't have pleasure to meet yet, am I right? I'm Walton Dulver, son of Lord Harald Dulver and heir of Stone Heath. How should I call You, Ser?-

"
Lyras, Ser Kevan Lyras. I am a Sworn Sword of House Marsten."
The marsten knight takes the offered hand. "
Pleased to meet you Ser Walton."
Confident he is, but is he more than a fighter?
"
Your master-at-arms is a smart man, it seems. Though with the knot, I am not so sure. Untying a knot may be easier than cutting it and stitching the pieces back together, don't you agree?"
"
I met one of your retainers once, a jovial septon named Arlyn, but other than him I have not had the pleasure to meet a member of House Dulver. What do you think of this whole mess? I fear like our six houses have a gigantic task put upon us..."

Ser Walton didn't stop smiling, his eyes glanced -if You are certain man, You can order knot to tie by itself, or order someone else to do it for You, as in fhe world are men with different virtues. Or if you are Dulver, You can buy new knots: better, stronger and yours...- young knight was thinking for a while, shaked off something from his shoulder and continued -Septon Arlyn, the holy man. Yes, he is men of great esteem in our lands. He talks the voice of our Lord, but sometimes too loud and adds too much from himself some people could say. But if You would like to meet more Dulvers, it's great opportunity, Ser. You can find in our camp people of many interests. If You are interested in hunting, talk with our archers, if in warfare, talk to our Guard's Captain Garred over there- pointed on long military tent with his sword. -You want to pray? Speak with Arlyn. And if You want to practice with steel...- raised the sword to watch sun glances playing on blade -You can practice with us- showed with open hand gathered soldiers.

Kevan smiled at the huge knight's comments. It had a ring of arrogance certainly, but the way he presented the remarks, smile and all made the difference. Oh, the bragging of youth!
"
I guess that is one of the differences between the heir of an important house and a simple sworn sword. Thank you for the invitation, I gladly take you up on it. I think I will search out your guards' captain sometime this week. Septon Arlyn... yes he does not shy away from having his voice heard, as I remember from the Tourney at Riverrun. The Frey knight was not pleased..."
"
To be honest I was surprised to see your Coat of Arms here at the camp site. I was expecting House Dulver to stay at the Warrior's seat..."

Ser Walto laughed loudly while sayong -Believe me Ser, Benjen Frey didn't have many reasons for happiness last days and he shouldn't expect anu change soon! His cold bones are buried in nameless grave on crossroads, but his way to other side was too easy for broken knight, rebel and night's watch deserter: only few cuts in duel...- young knight seemed disappointed and waved away his hand with resignation -but our smallfolk can sleep calm now and got satisfaction of avengance through my sword.- touched gently bastard sword he was handling -this was his. Good steel and nicely lays in hand- after while of watching the blade and removing dirt which was not there contjnued -and yes, we are staying over here, because we were asked to be judges. Blackwood's offered us their hospitality, but Garred said we should stay here because of political reasons, even if we are blood related to them. And also who would like to sleep in castle, where even their own lord wasn't safe? We are good among our own people. They are skilled, drilled and disciplined- showed with open hand surroundings. -And where You are staying, Ser?-

That Garred seems indeed an interesting person to speak to. Maybe it is him that guides this young martial master on the political court as well?
I had the same thoughts as your Master Garred, but I prefer the amenities of the inn over a pavillon in the open. Might be the reason for it that I don't have such a formidable escort of fighters as you."

-My Lord Father and Captain Garred always insist, that heir should have best protection possible. And we don't want to sleep under inn's roof, when our soldiers sleep under the stars- opens his hands.
