It was still early morning when Ser Kevan headed out to the borderlands between House Darry and House Blackwood. He was pulling his coat close around his shoulders as he left the inn through the tap room, which was almost empty at that time, despite the many visitors occupying all rooms of the establishment. He met the young knight James Darry at the same place he met him on the day before.

"
Greetings Ser James and thank you again for joining me this early out on the field. But the days are busy and the week is short, so we have to use all the time available to us."

The Darry knight greets him as well, though Kevan can see that he would not have protested had they started their investigation a few hours later..."


The young knight led Kevan to the battlefield, where Kevan could make himself a picture of how the fight went down. Ser James' help was very valuable indeed as he pointed out small details that Kevan did not notice immediately completing the mental picture of the battle in his mind. It took almost an hour before the two of them decided to move on. Ser James, having led patrols through this lands many times, knew many of the smallfolks living nearby,mainly woodworkers and crofters. Kevan met with as many of them as possible, looking to find witnesses of said battle, anything that would add to the information he already gathered...
