Short Tom had been left to his own devices for the most part thus far during the investigation but today he had been asked to investigate a location along with Ser Walton and Ser Garred. He looked a small thing on his garron next to the large warrior heir of House Dulver and the captain of guard. Eager to start and finish this task to resume his own errands for Lord Dulver and perhaps his own personal leisure, he took quickly to the work.

Short Tom walks around on his own talking to the locals around trying to give hints that copper or silver could be found for helpful tips on what transpired here. He watches the men and women for signs of their truth or falseness as he talks with them. He watches those interacting with Ser Walton and Ser Garred even closer. Finally he scans the area with his old eyes that have seen much of the riverlands many times over, looking for things that stand out in this place.
