If we go with your break down for assignments(which I agree with) I will be able to talk but probably get little info. I will wait to see if Jory is present.

Re: Character Creation
Can I use a character that my PC has interacted with? I have some back story and stats fleshed out for him, so it would not take too much to finish him out into APC (it us Randolph)

Re: Character Creation
Of course, the more fleshed out the better, as long as it does not interfere with a major Reader plot :;Septon Arlyn wrote:Can I use a character that my PC has interacted with? Great! Just waiting on you, Kevan. My partner doesn't have to be Jory, it's just that they're the same age and gender and therefore more likely to pair up when taking initiative. If Griff takes charge, they'll probably roll with it.Benedict Marsten wrote:Loreia wrote:I'm at the smith's, but I'm going to need someone to do the talking (who will probably learn something whether or not I do). Did Ammet dislocate Martin's arm? This sounds more like he dismembered him.

Only"
a dislocation, but still enough to hinder him from working!

Re: Character Creation
Wiki page for joint dislocation, which is more likely what he has, explains how it's much worse than we're making it out to be. I'm sure there are some people who are able to dislocate their arms and reset them, but you definitely need to know what you're doing, and Ammet gave the arm a tug for all he's worth. We could probably use our maester's skill at healing as leverage with Martin to gain information from him or one of his friends. Probably in addition to a small bribe.
What skill would I need to use to find out whether one of the swords or knives were used to stab Ammet? Awareness, Survival? Because I'm good at one of those things.

I don't know how bad it usually is, but a mate of mine got it after falling of a roof, and he never fully recovered, and it took months for him to be able to play sports again, so it's bad, though it's not amputation bad
The blades seem clean, and you can't see if it's had blood on it. However, you can see if it's the same make, as smiths have their own style, just like with writing, Awareness seems appropriate.

Brant was treating the injured after the fight, so I'd assumed he had already helped Martin.
Hmm, I thought it was more a matter of weeks, but I'm no expert.

Re: Character Creation
Yes, he helped Martin, but the problem, as I've understood it the cartilage that holds the shoulder gets ruined, no amount of maestering can fix that, not even Brant's.Ayleth Bartheld wrote:Brant was treating the injured after the fight, so I'd assumed he had already helped Martin.

Is it Martin's writing arm? Winds of Winter will come out even slower now.

Rudolph and Pyte
Rudolph was a miser of a man. His coat was patched over so many times is was more patches then coat. His round belly distended with alcohol and bread. The long nose that once stuck out straight as a mouses snout was now curved like a beak from the number of times it was broken, and beneath that a sinister red and his eyes a jaundiced yellow that spoke to where he was gifted his great gut.
No one knows where he comes from, but to hear him tell it he had fought in all the recent wars and a few of the historical ones. He was a man who had lived a hard life, as was evidenced by a body that appeared much older then it actually was.

Feel free to make afternoon talks with your workpartners for the day, you have the rest of the evening to do with as you desire, but who knows about tomorrow...
