Choosing your event

So the tourney will be a local one with 64 participants in the joust including PCs. The joust will be bracket style with 6 rounds. Their will also be a single combat melee to first blood. Simply post which events your character will participate in and I will add them to the bracket.

Joust Purses:
Winner: 30 Gold Dragons
2nd place: 10 Gold Dragons
Semi-finalist: 5 Gold Dragons each

Melee Purses:
Winner: 10 Gold Dragons
2nd Place: 5 Gold Dragons

It would be random lots each round up until the final. You might want to check with Reader and see if you can bribe the master of the games to get the opponents you want. I don't think there any thing in the rules for it, but there is president in the books for people bribing the master of the games.

So I'll give one more week for people to enroll before starting the event. Players can still attend even if they don't want to participate in any of the events. melee will start first and it will be a 1v1 to first blood (So first person to take an injury or wound). There will than be a 1 day break to give people a chance to recover from an injury before the joust. During that day the wedding between Ser Fendral and Lady Vaelie will take place. Their will also be an opening feast to celebrate the friendship between Davain and Tymon Lannister.

For the joust I say do some sort of qualifier to whittle down the number of jousters to 64, probably occurring off-screen.

For the melee, we'll have the 17 notables+PC's and fill up with lesser NPC's to round out the groups.

Hey just wanted to check in on a few things for the tourney. Out of the list of notables attending, which ones will be partaking in the joust and melee. Of those partaking which one can we just assume beat Hedge knights and KoQ with out taking any injuries, therefor we don't have to roll those matches out. Lastly I was thinking of making the melee 3v3 instead of single combat. Would Pcs be able to convience NPCs of joint their team and if so how would they go about it?

- I'd assume a roughly 60% chance to beat a knight of quality for everyone bar Bold Jon Roxton and Ser Florian Greysteel (95% chance) and a 50% chance for Ser Karl Fossoway. Helps if you want to speed things up.
- Melee 3v3 - I'd allow pairing up with people from the same faction, where a favour is owed or where there's a positive historic disposition, although this option may complicate things.
