[This has not been approved, and involves NPC actions/reactions, but I felt that at this stage, I just wanted to get it out there. Consider this non-canonical for now.]

Daveth stood in House Coldbrook's, frankly, rather sorry excuse for a godswood, dressed in his finery, standing facing the woman who would be his wife. Off to one side, waiting their turn, was his brother and his ... something. They'd finally completed their ceremony in the eyes of the Seven a short time back, using the Kytley's Septon and a rather well put-together, given the circumstances, temporary chapel. So, in the eyes of those who followed the Seven, they were already married, but in the eyes of the old gods, they were still merely betrothed.

He mentally shook such deliberations from his mind as he took a couple of steps forward, matched by Alysanne, and they linked hands in front of the heart tree. He swallowed before beginning his oath. "I, Daveth Coldbrook, in the sight of our gods, take you, Alysanne Blackwood, as my wife. I swear to protect you on the battlefields I can fight on, and to trust in your skills on the battlefields I cannot. I swear to always be faithful and true, or may the gods strike me down. And finally, I swear before our gods the same oath I promised you when first we met: I don't know what tribulations the future will bring. But I swear to you, I will do my very best to ensure we overcome them," he squeezes her hands briefly, "together."

[OOC: And with this Destiny Point, I thee Cohort.]

Alysanne swallows down her own apprehension. "I, Alysanne Blackwood, in the sight of our gods, take you, Daveth Coldbrook, as my husband. Let me be henceforth known as Alysanne Coldbrook. I swear to protect you with all my strength from all who might harm you. I swear to always be faithful and true, or may the gods strike me down. And finally," she swallows he deserves this much. "finally, I swear that I will not let my love of martial matters prevent me from fulfilling my other duties, be they as a Lady, a wife, or a mother. As we swear, so let it be."

Daveth solemnly nods. "As we swear, so let it be." he lets a little smile form as he drops her hands. "As a matter of fact, I have a gift for you, to symbolise my intent." He glances over at his brother, already coming forward, with a silk-wrapped curved cylinder too big to be fully hidden behind his back. This he carefully hands over to Daveth, who takes it, and presents it to Alysanne. Curious, she carefully unfurls the silk of the object, until it falls open, revealing its contents.

Strangely perhaps, her first reaction was disappointment. It's a bow. Not like I don't already have one I'm already well familiar with. Still, as a symbol that he's serious over allowing me the battlefield, it's good. Though it's a strange colour. I wonder what he's done with it... she gently touches it, and it's when she does that she finally realises what it's made of, the possibility simply not having occurred to her. Her jaw drops open for a moment before she can articulate. "It's Dragonbone." she finally breathes. Grasping the bow, she lifts it up, so that she may see it better, and so that those in the audience may see the dragonbone longbow clearly. She stares at it in awe, running a hand down its length, still disbelieving.

"It comes with a husband, too." Daveth quips, too quietly for anyone but her to hear. Still, it's enough to snap her out of her reverie.

Making sure not to crush her new prize possession, she passionately hugs her new husband. "I only have myself to offer in exchange. But I'll do my best to make it a fair trade." she whispers in his ear facing away from the audience, before nipping him playfully on the earlobe, the action hidden by his head. Daveth's head jerks back a bit in surprise, and she takes the opportunity to lean down, and kiss Daveth deeply on the lips, tilting his head up to press against hers.

After a few moments, they disengage, and Daveth offer her his arm to escort his new wife away from the heart tree, leaving the space to be filled by Garret and Lady Hawys, for their ceremony. Garret begins their oaths. "I, Garret Snow, in the sight of my gods, take you, Hawys Kytley, as my wife. I swear to protect you with all my strength from all who might harm you. I swear to be faithful and true, or may the gods strike me down. And finally, I swear that while I'm not perfect, and that I've made mistakes before, that I will do my utmost to be a better man, for you. And that failing to listen to you will not be one of my mistakes."

Finally, it's Lady Hawys' turn. "I, Hawys Kytey, in the sight of your gods, accept you, Garret Snow, as my husband. Let me be henceforth known as your wife. I swear to honour and obey you as your position dictates, and support you to the best of my ability. I swear to be faithful and true, or may the gods strike me down. And finally, I swear," a slight smirk crosses her face. "That by the time I'm through with you, your body won't have the energy to be excited over any other woman.", enjoying the scandalised reaction from the audience. "As we swear, so let it be."

"As we swear, so let it be." Garret echoes. "And, well, like my brother, I have something special to show you-."

"Best save *that* for when we don't have an audience, husband." she jokes, drawing more gasps.

Garret's eyes sparkle in amusement as Daveth comes forward with a roll of cloth, and hands it over to him. Garret moves as if he's going to present it to Hawys, but then, snaps it open instead, presenting to both his new wife and the audience a coat of arms of a new house. "Behold! The coat of arms of House [placeholder]. A banner house of House Coldbrook. And the house you are now the Lady of."

"Well, my Lord and Husband." she speaks, clearly beaming and slightly breathless at this revelation. "Allow me to congratulate you as your wife should." and she leans forward, and kisses him deeply, quite clearly briefly using tongue. After a few moments, she withdraws, clearly not without reluctance on Garret's part, but she places a finger on his lips to deter pursuit, with a smirk. "The rest will have to wait just a bit longer. For now," and she offers Garret her arm, which he takes, and escorts her away from the heart tree.
