Story 3 Scoring: The Princess and the Queen Empty Story 3 Scoring: The Princess and the Queen

Back by popular demand from story 1: faction scoring!

Management is aware that those of you that support the Greens/Blacks may not do so because you support the Queen or Princess personally. Several of you have ties to Daemon or have chosen your stance on political/religious grounds.
Nevertheless I’m going with this naming convention for Story 3’s scoring, as a nod to the short story and to keep it distinct from Story 1.
Prizes will be picked in sequence, with the highest contributor to Black/Green choosing first, then the highest score from the opposing faction. Will you grab a prize that appears on both lists first [marked “Mutually exclusive”] to deny it to your foes, or select an objective that is a higher prioty to your house?

The Princess Rhaenyra Score (Blacks): 0
Queen Alicent Score: 0

The Princess (Blacks)
- A black member of the Royal family will be a guest/squire at your House. [higher score = Higher Status Royal available]
- Prince Daemon Targaryen feels beholden to you and will offer his Caraxes borne aid at some point in the Civil War to protect your holdings or strike at a foe. This is subject to his availability, military needs and the Prince's own dubious ethics.
- A Green of Status [Score x] or less will perish/be maimed in the campaign or subsequently.
- A member of your house will be a part of the Black Council when the Civil War begins. This character also gains “Favored of Nobles”/”Respected”/”Authority” [choose one] as they are respected by Black supporting nobles and given wary acknowledgement for their acumen by the Greens.
- A betrothal to a Black of Status [Score] or a Green of Status [Score-1], with the former option solidifying relations and the latter option creating the opportunity for asignifcant inheritance if the rest of the opposing family can be wiped out and a legitimate claim made to their lands.
- Position as Red Cofferer, coin tender to House Targaryen at the Red Keep and appointed by Lord Jasper Wylde (“Ironrod”) Ironrod who is legal minded enough to appoint from either faction. This will take your character or appointed NPC to King’s Landing and in a vital, dangerous position at the onset of the Civil War. Proximity to the royal treasury and House Targaryen’s regalia will be vital in the civil war. [Mutually exclusive]
- At the Civil War’s start, a strong breakaway faction will rise up in an opposing Green House’s lands, encouraged by the belief that your faction’s strong position means it will prevail. This will distract their military at the least and potentially overthrow their house! [This prize will be awarded to the highest scoring faction automatically, cannot be selected by the opposing faction and does not use up a house’s choice]

The Queen (Greens)
- A secret from Larys Strong, the Master of whispers.
- A betrothal to a Green of Status [Score] or a Black of Status [Score-1], with the former option solidifying relations and the latter option creating the opportunity for asignifcant inheritance if the rest of the opposing family can be wiped out and a legitimate claim made to their lands.
- A Black of Status [Score x] or less will perish/be maimed in the campaign or subsequently.
- A green member of the Royal family will be a guest/squire at your House.  [higher score = Higher Status Royal available]
- Lord Jasper Wylde aids your faction in uncovering old records and the necessary seals and laws to support them. A character in your House gains +1 status.
- Position as Red Cofferer, coin tender to House Targaryen at the Red Keep and appointed by Lord Jasper Wylde (“Ironrod”) who is legal minded enough to appoint from either faction. This will take your character or appointed NPC to King’s Landing and in a vital, dangerous position at the onset of the Civil War. Proximity to the royal treasury and House Targaryen’s regalia will be vital in the civil war. [Mutually exclusive]
- At the Civil War’s start, a strong breakaway faction will rise up in an opposing Black House’s lands, encouraged by the belief that your faction’s strong position means it will prevail. This will distract their military at the least and potentially overthrow their house! [This prize will be awarded to the highest scoring faction automatically, cannot be selected by the opposing faction and does not use up a house’s choice]

Additional prizes for the Faction with the highest overall highest score, provided minimum thresholds met
- A unit of regular cavalry to deploy in one civil war battle, as your faction’s lands are less troubled by skirmishing initially and deploy its hardier troops on campaign. [Higher scores may see this upgraded to a veteran unit]
- Controlling influence on the Stepstones, impacting the Civil War materially. [Mitigated/magnified by whichever houses take possession of fortifications/ports on the Stepstones]
- Two choices at offices of state after the Civil War, including on the small council (3rd and 7th pick in the draft). [Remaining picks are set by the Civil War’s outcome]

Consolation prize for lower scoring faction, provided minimum thresholds met
- A unit of cavalry to deploy in one civil war battle, made up of ambitious younger sons keen to usurp older brothers that support the opposing faction! [Higher scores may see this upgraded to a regular unit]
- One choice at an office of state after the Civil War, including on the small council (4th pick in the draft). [Remaining picks are set by the Civil War’s outcome]
