Re: Melee Group 2
(Well, you did go down to Wyl, you know...)
"Only one way either of us gets past him" Ser Meddrick bellows and shifts his attention to the real threat, rushing Ser Lorent with great effort, shield first against his chest, his sword bearing down upon the foe brought to his knee. The reply is savage, rattling Ser Meddrick's helmet, but the merman knight is still clinging on. Ser Jorah, having no real hope of reaching further seems to only be interested in doing what he can for the white cloaks by keeping Ser Kevan occupied for long enough for his brother to be best able to carry out his duties to the crown.

- Actions&Iniatives:
Medrick, moves to C2, then knockdown vs Lorent: 5d6 22, success. Then spends fatigue for lesser action to attack lorent: 8d6k6-2 25 3 DoS, 3*6-10=8 damage.
Will take fatigue to ignore AP upon being attacked.
Lorent: knockdown vs Meddrick: 4d6-1 14 Success, then attack medrick LB1: 7d6+1 36 4 DoS, 7*4-10=18 damage, Ser Meddrick takes 2 injuries.
Will take fatigue to ignore AP upon being attacked.
LBII: Maneuver as part of attack: 7d6 29, Lorent opts against moving his foe.
Jorah moves to C1 to cautiously attack Kevan (no chance of damage, but triggers fatigue and threat of passive attack at 21, 6 damage per DoS should Kevan wish to engage Lorent)
Will take fatigue to ignore AP upon being attacked.

Re: Melee Group 2
"Really Jorah!? Get out of my way so I can go after your new brother!"
Kevan slams his shield into the man from Dorne bringing him to his knees. But the kingsguard is defending too well for the deciding blow just yet and so Kevan waits for another opening...
Knockdown Jorah: 4d6-3 12 I guess enough?
Cautious Attack Jorah: 7d6k5+1-3 22
AR 11
CD 14 or 17 (see below)
Health 5/12
F/I 3/0
Fatigue spent on an attack, but not if it is Jorah using a cautious attack
Ooc: Ah I see, the Ayl Campaign taints my image again ;-)

Re: Melee Group 2
Ser Meddrick keeps slashing at Ser Lorent, but fails to make enough headway and the kingsguard's reply maintains the standard upheld throughout the match, the merman knight is pressed back into the fray with Kevan and Jorah, while Ser Lorent backdracks to a place where he might have some brief reprieve before getting back into the fight. Jorah keeps up his steadfast determination, his strength so spent that he can only serve as an obstacle, though some might suspect that even looking defeat in the eye, Ser Jorah remains a dutiful kingsguard by practicing that which a kingsguard may be called upon to do, delay the foes of his charge for as long as he can.
- Actions&iniatives:
Meddrick aim+attack Lorent: 9d6k5-5 17 2 DoS, for 2*6-10=2 damage
Lorent attack medrick LB1: 7d6 23 3 DoS, for 3*7+7-10=18 damage, Meddrick takes wound.
LBII: Maneuver as part of attack: 7d6-1 26 Meddrick gets pushed to B2, Lorent then takes lesser move action to G3.
Jorah aim+attack Kevan: 7d6k5-5 10 Nope.
Contingent fatigue to ignore AP upon being attacked

Re: Melee Group 2
[Ooc: Lorent is still prone so Meddrick's hit would have one more dice to roll. If it is a 5 or 6 that is one more DoS, I think. Also, with taking a wound afterwards, Meddrick is effectively out before I act, agreed?]

Re: Melee Group 2
[He's maneuvered, so -1D to cancel it out, he'll be yielding on his turn, so you could always delay until after that.]

Re: Melee Group 2
Time for the shieldmaiden shuffle!
Disregarding Jorah's attempt to hold him back from his crouched position, Kevan dropped his shield, took his blade into two hands and charged the less injured kingsguard, who was still on his knees. The attack clearly surprised Ser Lorent and but at the last second he could twist his upper body slightly to the right. However, Kevan's slash still hit him severely.
Delay until after MM yields
Drop shield, CD is 7
Take free attack from Jorah 21: 3*6=18-11= 7, take one injury
Charge 2H LM: 7d6k5+1-4-1 21
Charge 2H LM Lucky RR: 7d6k5+1-4-1 18 ...The first try was oh so close to 4DoS (with BotA) and outright defeat, but now I am likely done...
3DoS*9 (5+2+2) = 27 -10 = 17 damage
AR 11
CD 7
Health 2/12
F/I 4/1
End up at G4
