You seem like the sort of man who likes to bend the line often,"
Corrine jests, her playful intonation making 'bend the line' almost sound euphemistic.

[Theomore Tullison]

Have you never had that longing, my lady?"
Theomore responds in kind. "
To not let yourself be bound by the rules placed upon you by others? Their demands and expectations? Have you not tried to subvert them ever so slightly?"

His niece had been like that once, and then she had to grow up when her brother did not. How much better it would have been the other way around.

I suppose you have a point there, Ser,"
Corrine conceded. "
Today's rules were once radical and new. And I am aware I do not hew as closely to expectations as some would want. I would be the first to say that not all laws are fair and just, but it is important that those who see a better way lead by example. Driving change forward for a better society is not the same as flauting fair rules to gain advantage over the vulnerable."

[Theomore Tullison]

If that is what my lady wishes to accomplish, then she will need my sort of luck more than I do."
Theomore puts his coin into Corrine's hand with a kind smile, he had a few more with him, not the first time he had given one away to a girl, and Raff had wanted some, too. Ren Alyard had simply shrugged and forged them, work was work, good guy master Ren, solid, dependable...and utterly boring.


[I think it's time for wrapup, fun scene, but too taxing to do that again before my exams are over though.]

[Lady Corrine Marsten]

She chuckled as she turned it over in her hand.

"
How very trusting, revealing your secret to me, Ser,"
she jested. "
I thank you for this gift. I shall treasure it, as I will the memory of this most stimulating conversation. I should take my leave now, as I have other matters to attend, but I do hope you enjoy the rest of the evening."


She curtsies politely.

[Theomore Tullison]

A knight should not keep secrets from a lady."
Theomore allows his childish streak come out to play on his face. "
And I do wish you luck in finding the right sort of man, my lady should remain who she is, and not allow anyone to force her to be someone else."


He offers a deep bow. "
It was an honor and a pleasure, my lady."

[Lady Corrine Marsten]

"
Thank you, Ser Theomore. It was a pleasure to meet you too."


She strolls out of the Great Hall, making her way to the Godswood for her rendez-vous with Ser Baelon.
