Nothing is as wonderful as an encoaching spring. The earth re births all that cold has driven away. It is a time of new possibilities, new creations. The oppressive blanket of snow that winter has spread over the fields melts away, creating new life.

Yoren finds it fitting that today is the day he will start regrowing relationships with his fathers old soldiers. He has waited for rumours of his return to spread, but now he is ready.

He walks around the camp, telling lewd jokes, helping with day to day tasks all the while attempting to make the household warriors see that brains may be as important as brawns when it comes to leading a house.

He toils first at the swordrack with his brother before he sets to the work. He works with the men till the noon bell rings, telling the camp that there is food to be had. He uses the food as an excuse to talk to some more warriors, before they get back to the work of maintaining the pavilion. He then excuses himself as he hurriedly changes for the speeches. After the speeches he is ready for a new bout of work and he returns to chat up some more of the household warriors.

[OOC: 2 DoS - can you note this and link to it in your character sheet please?]

Yoren travels among the Longshoer men, making the most progress with men old enough to remember him as a young man.

However, it is not just the veterans who heed Yoren's words. Occasionally - just occasionally - the younger warriors linger to listen, stirred by old tales and laughter form the more experienced warriors.

Yoren feels he's maybe beginning to make some progress on the youngsters, and that much of the old guard are leaning towards tradition.
