OOC: I assumed they would be with the Coldbrook cavalry Jorah is trying to "
borrow"
from Lord Coldbrook.

"
I appreciate your wise words Ser Jon. If you like, come with me to the Hunstman now, I need to try and find Brandon Hill - we could ask around about the terrain afterwards."

"
My head is still ringing from my joust earlier, so I am going to return to our camp to be in peak condition for the morning. I'll look for Dyana and see if we can't arrange for some Marsten cavalry as well."

OOC: Part of the issue was timing, I think... not much time to make arrangements before we have to depart. Reader, can I just do that in this timeslot (spun off into a new thread or in this one) seeing it's all in the pavilions anyway? I'd love to get some RP in with Gwyn about it too...

[OOC: consider this thread not to use your timeslot, as with the trial by combat. There is rich roleplay potential here, those who want a scene with another PC may have it]

Just as Ben is about to depart he spins on his heels. "
My Lord, perhaps we should have a field ready maester with us in case of unforeseen injuries. Our own Maester Haelis may be good but very unprepared for the battlefield I believe."

(OOC: This is me throwing out a possibility for Jorah to suggest Daveth. Feel free to shoot it down.)

Very well, I suppose we're as likely to find local hunters at the Huntsman as anywhere else at this hour. Lead on, Lord Dunstan, I shall follow."

OOC: Reader has okayed incuding finding local hunters (Eddrick Goodwater) at the Huntsman using the thread you've already started.

"
Yes let us go. First let me give instructions to Ser Matther"
Dunstan walks out of the tent and approaches the archer knight.

"
Greetings Ser. I'm sure you have heard of the events that transpired just now. I am going to go to the Inn and hire some archer mercenaries. I expect you to lead them, along with all the scouts we can muster, and to keep an eye on them during the expedition. Meet them at 5am in front of the Water Gate, he is a blonde Westerlander, you will recognize him. After you meet up go to Harren's Justice and hide around the area. When I blow my horn, do charge out. Godspeed."

OOC: I can use up another slot to give him the orders but I figure this will be enough, tell me if it isn't, Reader.

"
When we interrogated Holy Harry earlier, we did get some information.

In terms of troop numbers, he may have a decent size force himself, though how well trained and experienced, I do not know. I would imagine a mix.
He does have twenty Andal knights, so we may not be facing Ser Lionel Darry himself. The coward may not be there at all.

He does sometimes camp at Rugar's Hold in Durains Forest, though apparently even the bandits there will band together to reclaim it from him.

We did not get much on his plans, but he is after a spectacle to draw more followers. If we lose tomorrow, I fear for another uprising by the Faith Militant."

ooc
Gotten the info from Holy Harry now
