Daveth arrives outside the tent of Ser Fendrel. He gathers his confidence, and makes a final check of his appearance. Never Falter!

Daveth Coldbrook to see Ser Fendrel Bartheld."
He announces himself.

[Reader]

Three taps of the halberd from a typically inattentive Bartheld guardsman. It's a jarring contrast to House Coldbrook's vigorously drilled troops.

"
Daveth Coldbrook!"
shouts the guard, seeking to make up in volume what he lacks in attentiveness.

Inside stands Ser Fendrel, the would be Lord of House Bartheld. He is a handsome figure and as yet unmarried. He strokes his neatly cut beard with one hand while holding an unopened wine bottle in the other.

At Daveth's approach he sets aside the wine and bows to his guest.

Master Daveth."

[Daveth Coldbrook]

Daveth enters and gives an appropriate bow in response. "
Ser Fendrel. Thank you for agreeing to meet me."


Spotting the other man present, he bows again. "
