Gwyneth prowled the party, feeling very much like the wild huntress she was masquerading as. If Sofia was at the party, and she had it on good authority she was, then her father would certainly be there too. It wasn't enough to secure her goodwill...Lord Blackwood would need to be convinced as well. Lyras was not a particularly large or strong House by themselves...but they did have powerful friends. He might need to be reminded of that.

She asked discretely around, and consented to a dance with a gentleman in a mask made to look like a grinning sunburst, who then told her to seek the highwayman in red. Gwyn spied the man immediately of course, and cautiously approached. The mask was good, but she thought that little mustache could very well be Lord Blackwood's...trimmed a bit for the disguise, but not shaven completely. No doubt to save him some time growing it back.

Going over to him, she asked, "
