Re: Character themesongs
So as far as the Lannisters go......
Is there really another choice? I think Ser Tymon writes this at some point.....

Or do you go the whimsical

Re: Character themesongs
This is not a theme song, but I was thinking about Loreia's initial perspective on the incident at the Twins that resulted in Joren Coldbrook's death, and coincidentally, I like Al Kaplan's Legolambs musicals. Obviously, some details don't match up: Joren was not a (boxing)champion, and we haven't reached a happy ending(and we probably won't).

That's a win, all right.

Re: Character themesongs
Solid choice, liked the piano cover. Worked well in the scene.
Blacks probably have an easier time choosing songs.
Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos by Public Enemy is probably one of the weaker tracks on "
It Takes A Nation of Millions...."
but the title fits well!
Greens have a tougher time rallying behind songs. A bunch of Green Day songs? :?
The traditionalist faction in the Legend of the Five Rings Winter Court IV forum game had a similar advantage over the progressive, able to link to Fiddler on the Roof's "
Tradition!"
whenever morale was low. :;
):
Being Green by Kermit the Frog? Hi my name is Dr Greenthumb by Cypress Hill? Greensleeves? Green Light by Beyonce!

I squee with joy when I recognise each new one. I love unusually styled covers. Like I loved the barbershop quartet version of God Only Knows in Bioshock Infinite.
I actually like this version of Paint It Black better than the original. So much more dramatic. I love that the same composer did soundtracks for 3 shows I love;
Game of Thrones, Westworld, and Person of Interest.

I like that one, the others I can't really say fits with GRRM's work in my head.

Since we brought up Westworld, I can totally see this one play out in the background in a Theo scene.

And this one kinda fits the whole black vs green intrigue:

Re: Character themesongs
Here's mine! A nice low energy piano remix with non-spoilery video.
I think it communicates several things in my character: a knight (particularly a woman) of humble origin who hasn't forgotten where she came from, a person whose values of loyalty led her to a new family, and someone who takes all her flaws in stride (well, we're halfway there with that one) and above all strives to do what's right (at least from her perspective).
That is, I would say, Loreia's "good side", when she's at her best. When she's at her worst...probably The Wavering Blade from the same game.

Re: Character themesongs
Not a theme song, but I have been listening to this sometimes for the tourney events, should go nicely with the masquerade reading:
Orlais Suite - Dragon Age Inquisition Soundtrack Extended
Apparently there's some musical variations of Ferelden and Orlais that largely went unused or unprompted in the game, so there is that (in addition to "extended", I am uncertain if it is simply called "extended" because that extra stuff is in there).
Be warned, if you haven't played the game yet, turn off autoplay or you may get some videos with blatant spoilers in the thumbnail and/or title.
