Corrine gently takes Ellie's hand;

She looks to Ser Derrock;

Ser, her brother, and my betrothed, is one of those left. He has endured much to make it this far, so of course it is troubling to Lady Ellien, and myself, when someone implies that he is not the brave, courageous, and honourable man we know him to be,"
she tells him, tactfully, not appearing upset herself, but more taking the tone of a peacemaker.

[Derrock Swann]

A surge of recognition flashes through Ser Derrock's eyes, and he nods. "
I am afraid there are men failing their courage and honor in the field today, my ladies, and that my words ring true. But I was not speaking of Ser Benedict."
His indulging smile widens, and he looks to the melee briefly before turning back to them. "
He is fighting as valiantly as I could expect him to, today. Rest yourselves sure of this."

[Lady Corrine Marsten]

We are very lucky to have him,"
Corrine replies cordially, with a little nod.

She squeezes Ellie's hand reassuringly.

Don't let it get to you, sweetling. Let's not have a scene.

Ellie smiles and nods to Ser Derrock. She squeezes Corrine's hand back. I am done. No more I promise.

[Kevan Lyras]

As the guardswoman yields, Ser Kevan stands up, cheering and clapping for both of them!

It went quicker than I expected, I guess the tiresome qualification rounds left their mark on most of them."

Turning to the septon he added with a grin: "
Man of the faith, I think you owe me some money and a favour! But I will follow my liege lady's example. Spend that money you owe me on your orphanage. The favor though, I will get back to this when needed!"

[Septon Arlyn]

Septon Arlyn smiles at Ser Kevan, "
I told you that boy had it in him, and one favor to the bold knight it is."
Septon Joins in the standing ovation to Ser Baelon, Happy with the way the tournament turned out. Thank the mother that we only lost one warrior today. Septon Arlyn smiles as the guardswomen leaves the field. They sure do make the people of the north hardy, that women came in and defeated many knights on the field today. I do not know how that will go over in the general populace but I for one am glad she did, I also hope that she can stay safe, daggers in the dark are much more dangerous then swords on the field.

Please excuse me,"
Corrine says softly, standing up. "
I wish to go see Ben, and praise his valiant effort."


She produces a small velvet purse, plucking out thirty stags and pressing them into the Septon's hands;

There is my twenty stag forfeit, and the ten for the poorhouse."


She looks to Ellie;

Do you wish to come with me to see Ben?"

She nods demurely and rises quickly to follow Corrine.

[Septon Arlyn]

Thank you my gracious lady, I do think Ser Bededict is ok, he seems to he the hardy sort."
He offers encouragingly, "
But if he is in need of some assistance healing I do have some practice in that area."
He gives a slight bow as Lady Corrine and Ellie take their exit

Ser Derrock nods respectfully at the leaving women, a little concerned that his words might have unsettled them too much.

Teaches you to mind your tongue near ladies, you old fool.

Chuckling at himself, he looks at the victor leaving the field. "
I told you. The bastard has the day."

[Septon Arlyn]

He did certainly did. Says much for having patience under stress though I would say. How about you Ser Derrock? How would you have beaten the bastard?"
Asks the Septon Genuinely curious. "

He states matter of factly

Dunstan says, still bitter from the encounter with Lionel Darry, and angry at the Faith as a whole.

[Septon Arlyn]

Septon Arlyn looks at the young Lord, thinking quickly about anything that he heard about him, then remembering Ser Jorahs page telling him about Marie seven. "
My Lord, do you speak to me and try to lump me in with those blasphemers, the warrior brotherhood?"
asked Septon Arlyn incredulously. "
My Lord, With all due respect it was me who spoke to "

Now there may be some of my brothers whom which to see the faith return the proper brotherhood back to its former glory, but even they would call these men traitors to the cause that those men may support. Myself, I do not wish to see any return of any of the Brotherhod of Warriors, I feel that it undermines the purpose of the faith, to support peace and teach others a way to support their lords and families in an organized manner."
Septon Arlyn makes it clear that he does not support the activites that the brotherhood have been involved in. "
My lord, on my way to the tournament I saw a smallfolk man hanging in a tree with the seven pointed star carved into his chest. This is blasphemy of the highest degree. I am no supporter of the Faith militant."
Septon Arlyn practically spits the last two words, showing his distain for the mere idea of the outlaws.

[Dunstan Tullison]

Dunstan says.

Than, in a sudden urge to tease the holy brother he says

Than you do know why they murdered one of my men? It's because I apparently used one of the girls in my household. Do you support that kind of relationships? The kind where two find themselves under the sheets without putting a cloak on each other backs?"
he tries not to laugh.

The Septon laughs at the young lords joke, then becoming slightly more somber he states. "
My Lord, there are many loves that I have had in this life. The love of food, the taste of freshly opened wine, the smell of sour bread baking, the creaminess and salt of butter, but a women has never found my fancy. As for extra marital relationships, I of course disapprove of them,"
Then leaning closer to Dustin and engaging in a loud whisper, "
However the Gods are love, and if both parties are consenting and there is no bastards borne."
Septon Arlyn shrugs. "
There are worst things for men to do with their time, however there are also far better"

[Dunstan Tullison]

Dunstan is perplexed, "

well I am not all septon's. Maybe there are some out there how would prefer a women to a hot pie but that is not for me. I believe that is one of the things that called me to the most devoted."
