Players seem to be really getting into the spirit of things, but some have only just arrived. I myself have at least 2-3 more people I want to speak to (including Isobel), some for intrigue, some just to socialize, but so far I've only had time to post speaking to Kevan and Loreia.

Bartheld party thread - absolutely no need to end RP threads just because the day ends. For a big thread like this, feel free to break in to side threads too if you're finding a conversation hard to manage.

Looks like D6 will extend through to Sunday. Apologies for those looking forward to D7 - I've been a player and know how frustrating this can be.

Might be a good idea to start the Magnificent 7 stuff at least, as that could take a while and have significant impacts on what comes later in the day.

On another note, I'm going to be AFK for much of the weekend again (vigorous and enthusiastic posting when available though).
Further, early next week I'll be undoing my massive road trip from a couple of weeks ago, so I'll be AFK for long stretches for a couple days then, too (either Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Wednesday).
Couldn't be worse timing for a massive battle. I'll still be able to get posts in early and late though, so hopefully it won't slow things down too much.

Right, realistically day 7 isn't starting until this combat is done. Feel free to start role-play threads for it, but our combatants/their bodies won't make it back until the equestrian competition.

Tentative D7 start date - Saturday the 6th.

As well as starting various roleplay threads on D7, those not in the combat are welcome to scheme on their offseason script (where we set a little personal vignette for your character with a similar format to the official events - various abilities tests, sliding scale of rewards. May well mix in a little combat too for those who desire it). Get creative here, it's a good way to tick off your personal goals/do something cool/build story.

Very sorry to everyone who is on hold, but hopefully the above keeps people involved but frees me up to resolve the combat.

That said, if Wrecker Jon continues to hit my NPCs for 30 Fighting rolls and 20 damage, the combat will be over soon!

Collaborative approach, so think of what you produce as a first draft with flavour, the kind of rolls you'd like to make etc.

As mentioned in one of the OOC threads, I will be absent with limited to no internet access in these upcoming two weeks. With the upcoming melee, for which Kevan also recruited participants for his melee team, this creates a few difficulties.
Fortunately, the player behind Nathaniel agreed to pilot Ser Kevan through the melee, acting as if it was his PC for that event. As Nathaniel Mason is not participating in the melee and we did not have any dealings IC sofar, I think this is a neat solution that keeps the narrative intact and does not create any conflicts of interest for anyone.

Otherwise, I guess the narrative would be that Kevan is mainly recovering for the exhausting days in the joust and the trial etc.

It is a bit unfortunte with the timing as these are also the last two days of the Tourney and thus Story 1, but I am sure Reader would allow us to wrap up any open RP storylines afterwards, should there be need for it. For the offseason and any future story developments I will be back again.

Very much so on wrapping things up. Rough luck on the timing, but Ser Kevan has achieved a great deal already (slaying religious nutcases, jousting success, melee leadership and more!).
