Do any of you access the forums through an app? I tried to add the forum to my Tapatalk, but it didn't work.

I can try to look in to that over the weekend. I normally access direct via web browser. Give me a nudge at the weekend and I'll have a poke around.

I just use the regular internet app on my phone. Seems to work fine, though I have to resize and scroll around a lot.

When I use my phone, I just use the browser. Which is crap, but works. Barely.

Just read this quote from the woman who writes the Norwegian subtitles for Game of Thrones:
"
I have never before encountered a show that has so many despicable people in it that I am unable to not care about"
(Translation mine)

A testament to both the writing (GRRMs and the screenwriters) and the acting. Making people care about despicable people is hard.

I know it's dangerous to mix politics and entertainment, but I feel like this is hilarious no matter where one stands:

Hahaha you think you're pretty funny, don't you? Also I don't get it... Like, Kirsten Dunst? Whatever it is, I'm missing it.Septon Arlyn wrote:p.s. Loreia, are you going to change our name now to Ser Loreia Dunst on your profile? in honor of your knighting :;

huh, I would swear somewhere I saw a Ser Loreia Dunst posted somewhere... oops. But anyways, you do get to choose a Surname when you are Dubbed right? As you are no longer considered peasantry?

I've not had a last name or title on my account since before Day 1 :;

Pssh, it's in my sig, that'll do just fine.
I am not sure. Somewhere in between peasant and the lowest rank of nobility, maybe. I'm just a knight. But I was told, in fact asked, what surname and what design for my coat of arms I had decided upon - which I hadn't yet. Second time I was asked, I thought, "
alright, let's just make one now"
, and viola. Credit to Baelon for suggesting chevrony and inescutcheon.

Ah, my bad. well I remember reading (some time ago, and I'm on my phone so I'm not going to look it up right now.) That you were getting rid of your last name as it is not typical in asoiaf for small folk to have last names. But now as a knight you can have your last name back.
(I'm just glad that mistake happened OOC and not IC )

This is me deliberately (and with some difficulty) not making a Shakespeare reference.

Oh, you remember correctly. I hated the "Septon Arlyn wrote:Ah, my bad. well I remember reading (some time ago, and I'm on my phone so I'm not going to look it up right now.) surname"
I'd came up with, so I got rid of it. If you see a surname after "
Loreia"
that isn't "
Durant"
, strike it from your memory. It don't exist no more.

Saw this and thought of Lady Corinne and her two tiny friends. Imagine what a dream job that would be.

Aww, it's nice to be thought of! My little pals are not wild hedgies, but I love those too. If I wasn't pursuing an acting career, I'd love to work rescuing animals.

Acting is so much fun, but I've never had the guts to pursue it as a career. Not that philosophy isn't also super competitive, but at least there's tenure...Lady Corrine Marsten wrote: If I wasn't pursuing an acting career, I'd love to work rescuing animals.

It's certainly the most masochistic thing I've ever done.

Marathoning the TV show again in looking forward to the new season in April. Book knowledge(knowledge from the books, not "
reader knowledge"
) and having already watched it all provides me a new perspective, a quasi-timeline view.
Not the strong enough armor to guard me against the emotional roller coaster, though, leaving me half hardened, half not.
