[opc: This was done in exposition for time. Feel free to post if you want, but there is a link to the after-party thread below, which might be more useful.]

The hubub of voices inside the Sept makes the place feel alive and full of excitement. Septon Meribald stands at the altar in his full ceremonial regalia, Ser Benedict stood near him, awaiting the entrance of the bride.

In the absence of her father, Corrine is escorted into the sept on the arm of Ser Kevan Lyras, and they walk slowly between the pews, all eyes upon them as they approach the steps below the altar. Of particular note is that she carries a cloak over one arm, bearing the Marsten lightning bolt in silver thread.

She has been painstakingly rendered at her best, her long black hair pinned high and voluminous, with loose ringlets tumbling down her shoulders and back. Nestled in her elegant coiff are two fine silver ornaments, one on each side of her head. Dancing hares, wrought in a sleek Dornish style, with opals for eyes. Lady Isobel recognises them as one of Lord Corben's last gifts to his beloved daughter.
Her gown is modest, though it has an ethereal allure. Clad in flowing pale blue silks, with a wide neckline and wide gossamer sleeves, she appears like The Maiden herself, radiating gentle light, her slippered feet not visible beneath her skirts. Silver &
opal jewellery hangs from her ears and neck, their pearlescent sheen adding to her luminosity.

At the steps, Ser Kevan moves aside, and, with a warm smile, Corrine nods to him in thanks, and ascends the steps, taking her place next to Ben.

Septon Meribald intones clearly and loudly for the whole room;

"
Corrine, of House Marsten, you may cloak Ser Benedict of House Blackthorne, and bring him into your House."

The few scandalised murmurs each Corrine's ears, but she disregards them. She proudly unfolds the cloak, and fastens it around Ben's shoulders, gazing at him lovingly.

"
Now join hands,"
the Septon instructs.

Corrine slips her right hand into Ben's left, and the Septon ties them together with a white ribbon. Then, taking up the ceremonial crystal, he holds it aloft, the light shining through the glass above the altar creating a rainbow across the bride &
groom's faces.

"
In the sight of the Seven, I hereby seal these two souls, binding them as one, for eternity. Look upon one another and say the words."

As before, Corrine &
Ben turn to face each other, intoning the vow in unison: "
Father, Smith, Warrior, Mother, Maiden, Crone, Stranger, I am his, and he is mine. From this day until the end of my days."

"
Father, Smith, Warrior, Mother, Maiden, Crone, Stranger, I am hers and she is mine. From this day until the end of my days."

Corrine cannot help but beam with joy as she recites, and squeezes Ben's hand.

When they finish, Septon Meribald sets the crystal back down on the altar, and unties their hands, gesturing for the pair to turn to face their attendees;

"
I now declare that Corrine of House Marsten and Ser Benedict of House Blackthorne to be man and wife, one flesh, one heart, one soul, now, and forever, and cursed be the one who comes between them."

The newlyweds descend the steps, and take up seats for them to observe Baelon &
Gwyneth's ceremony.
