Since, as far as I am aware, I am the only person who has done this, I will presume this is directed at me.
It was certainly intended to include you, but I thought there were others as well (Yoren? Arlyn?) , but I'm on my phone right now and I can't look it up. It certainly wasn't intended to be personal.
I was certainly reacting most proximally to your post capping the well and burning the bodies at Blackbuckle. It's not the actions you took,or whether or not you had it planned or even if reader approved the actions. It's the timing. It won't affect me, as I will not be going there before that occurs(my personal concerns have more to do with keeping up), but I know others are. By posting your actions out of time you rob them of the opportunity to do the same. What if you went back and found the bodies already disposed of?
I've only got around to day two today However I was guilty of starting day 1 early.
I get both sides of the argument, I myself have had issues with time constraints at certain periods. I have at other times found the forums to be WAY to slow, but I believe that the best is to just be flexible, Bracken/Blackwood lands are littered with corpses, it's enough of those to go around.
With a little plasticity we can fit everyone's schedule.
Btw: Nathan;
if things going to slow you still owe me a proper meeting :;

As someone with ASD, I very much understand your difficulty with things not going fast enough for you.
My condition is not as serious as ASD, but it does bear it's own issues.
Fifteen year ago I stood up in the middle of a chess tournament and left because I simply didn't care any more. I haven't played a game of chess since.

As I said I'm a little out of the loop, I know that you'll burn carcasses, but I have no idea apart from that:) it may be later d3 if d2 is fully booked.

Re: Game Discussion
I more meant that someone else may have planned to take action in the scene which would affect your post (like disposing of the remains) which posted after your post would like like an ex post facto attempt to interfere with you. I was not accusing you of destroying evidence (though some might see it that way).Nathaniel Mason wrote:In that time slot, Nathan is preparing to burn the animal carcasses. A process that will take days if not longer before we get to the human bodies. Both PCs and NPCs should have ample opportunity to do what ever actions they may wish.
Really, this case is not really all that bad - it's just that setting the precedent could lead to much worse situations.
I appreciate that.Nathaniel Mason wrote:I will not post anything in advance in future
I am truly sorry to hear that. I myself have suffered from acute anhedonia and avolition in the past due to other conditions, so I have some hint as to what it is like for you (though of course I can never truly know what it is like) . My current issues are more situational - working up to 30 hours a week while being a full-time student and trying to write a thesis and prepare to apply to PhD programs.Nathaniel Mason wrote:Since you have been clear, let me be the same.
I suffer from Anhedonia. To save anyone from looking that up, roughly stated, it is a condition where people lose interest in activities, even in activities they enjoy or find pleasurable.
Story 1 was a tremendous struggle for me. I was fine when the game weeks were weekly, less so when it was ten days, and you guys nearly lost me when nothing was happening for two or three weeks at a time. While you may have the problem of things happening too rapidly, I have quite the reverse problem.

For me, the closest analogy I can give is that your sitting in a restaurant with your partner, laughing, have a good time, enjoying each others company, and... at some point... you realize that you don't have any more feelings for that person than you did when you first met. Logically you know you should love them, that you want to be with them, that they are an important part of your life, but the emotional attachment has simply vanished inexplicably.
Now that has, thankfully, never happened to me that quickly towards a person, and I have techniques I can use to prevent it from happening more slowly, but it has happened that fast towards weaker interests like hobbies, games, sports, etc.
I have Avolition too, but that is a more recent development (the last 3 years or so) resulting from some unfortunate incidents. Hopefully that can be corrected, but my Anhedonia has been a problem all my life.

Ah Septon Arlyn, forever failing awareness checks, fulfilling classic rpg tropes regarding spot checks.

Or in the case of the elder scrolls "
it must have been the wind"
Although I think orokos I think is demanding that Septon Arlyn stay honest and forthcoming in his dealings. Every time I try to lie, sneak, or notice some thing it goes terribly arwy.
I guess it's off to taunt some more bullies for me

I need some Warfare really badly. I'm already getting in trouble. And more Empathy. And everything, actually. Orokos has been toying with me for it's sport.

Not as much as we'd like, amusingly. We've been bemoaning that we're finding it difficult to have a fight. We're clearly too nice.

Don't be like that, love. It worries me. Whatever you fear, I want to assuage it. Is it because he wanted to court me before? I don't want another Garrett Snow incident."
She attempts to step closer and take his hands again, though this time, she seems a little nervous of doing so.
Am I sensing an intrigue to prevent another scene in the sept? :;

It's hardly a fetish. Bastards are products of sin and lust. They go for her, not the other way around.
