I will end with this one, and while Nathan probably gets top score for creativity, effort and entertainment value (again). In terms of my personal approval rating, this one actually wins. And that's for the single reason that Loreia threw the worst insult yet in this scene, not veiled, not taunted, no, just blurting it out straight into Lord Frey's face. No Loreia, that's not a critical failure in RP (although probably on some imaginary persuasion test), that's a 4 DoS success in RP, to thunderous applause. Doing exactly as is in your character even though that is just about the most stupid thing that you character imaginably might have done deserves nothing less.

Heh, I don't advocate lowering quality to lower expectations...
But yeah, while I might not like what Nathan said, as usual it was said with style. I can only hope to write such good posts on occasion - I'll never get anywhere near Nathan's consistent quality.

One player's 4 DoS is another player's critical fail - it all depends on whether what happens is a result of your desires, or contrary. Someone trying to throw a joust that gets a 4 DoS hit instead has just critically failed.
