Spreading a Song(Open) Empty Spreading a Song(Open)

After the conclusion of the investigation, any person stopping at a nearby tavern will likely hear a new song spreading from the riverlands and beginning to reach outwards towards the connecting regions. The song spreads quicker than one would expect in all directions though none can be sure if the cause is the inspiring manner of the song’s subject, the quality of the work or the reach of the song’s benefactors. It seems to gain popularity among smallfolk and nobles alike eventually even catching the attention of one famed knight of the Reach.

[Spaghetti Western Theme]
There are tales aplenty of noble knights and their deeds,
as they travel the land saving damsels with their lance and steeds.
But gather round tonight , all me friends take a seat-
to hear stories of a common man achieving feat after feat.

Full of heart and courage but lacking both lance and steed,
He travels the land with just a bow and his own two feet.
Slaying both beasts and bandits for the good of all folk,
His only reward a smile, a tankard or mayhaps a good joke.

Chorus(Note chorus speeds up pace after the first line):
They call him Luueecian Loongbooow…
A common man with uncommon dreams,
Crisscrossing this land full of rivers and streams.
Champion of folk from any hamlet or town,
Risking his life to bring beast or bandit down.
Keeping it safe for both ladies and childs,
Protector of the helpless, Slayer of the wilds.

When a false knight and his men did spread death and fear,
Who else to strike back but a hunter so skilled and so near.
To end the false knight’s right hand who had caused the folk such harm,
It took but a hunter’s clever guile and a single pull from his mighty arm.

It’s said a single arrow did fly so straight and so true,
To strike the bandit Old Jack dead, and deliver him his due.
While only the wind and trees witnessed the old bandits fall,
Rest assured never again will he trouble folk- be they great or small.

CHORUS

On a fair spring day, a great and noble hunt did he find,
With great lords and ladies and others of that kind.
One brave lady felled a great cat then she watched as it died,
While unbeknownst to her its partner ambushed her from aside.

Stalking the beast for hours he tracked it now to this spot,
He rushed a quick shot at the beast, for it would harm this lady not.
The arrow did bravely alter the great beast’s brutal course,
While the next one ended its life surely with its fatal force.

CHORUS
CHORUS

Remember the name Luueecian Loongbooow…
And spread his tales here and there or wherever
Yooouuu mmaaayy gggoooooo…

Rowdy applause greets the end of the song and the general mood of the tavern is uplifted. Stories are told at different tables describing various claimed interactions with the huntsman-a cousin who drank with him at the penny pitcher or a nephew who was present at a hunt he attended or a friend’s brother who diced with him recently. Few if any of the stories were exactly true but that wouldn’t bother the huntsman in the least if they were ever to reach his ears.
