Lord Mallister seeks to end this quickly, and rises in the saddle to get more leverage.

As he teeters in the saddle, the thought crosses his mind that perhaps he ought to take Ser Kevan a bit more seriously, as he had taken second in the tourney at Riverrrun.
As he falls, he realizes that it is too late.
