[Day 4, Round 2] Ser Derrock Swann v Ser Roger Corne
Once again Ser Derrock rode into the tilt, not seemingly very refreshed from his first victory. Ser Henry Hardyng took the fall a bit worse than expected - it's one thing to be hurt by breaking lances or the jousting impact, but being grazed by the horse's hooves is not something anyone deserves.
Nevertheless, he greeted all as usual, waving to the smallfolk and bowing his head to royalty and his opponent. Taking his lance and setting for the charge, he decides to repeat his winning tactic this once. The horse starts forward, and the crowd holds its breath.

: 9d6k4+2 20 - Ser Roger Corne can at least say he broke a lance against the famous Ser Derrock, but doesn't force an animal handling check.

Re: [Day 4, Round 2] Ser Derrock Swann v Ser Roger Corne
Once more, Ser Derrock rides in for an impressible tilt. The knights' lances clash into one another, and Ser Roger's weapon shatters onto his opponent well-placed shield, though the Auroch expertly keeps himself on saddle without as much as risking balance.
Ser Roger Corne, however, barrels backward and into the dirt, and struggles in place for a moment before rising. He waves off the assistants that come close, saying he is defeated, but well. "
A fine ride, my friend."
Ser Derrock nods to his defeated match before riding off from the jousts for the day.

Result: 2 DoS, 20 Damage, TN 12 to stay in saddle.
Unhorsed, minor back injury.

[OOC: most gallant and decisively struck! Less bloodthirsty than some of the competitors. /scene]
