[Day 5, Round 3] Ser Derrock Swann v Ser Tyron Blackwood
Rested on a new day, Ser Derrock arrives at the tilt riding high, his horse seeming more spirited today. The banners of house Swann flutter haphazardly on the beast's side, the wind lifting some dust off the ground as the knight performs his customary greetings. "
A fine noon for a tourney!"
He smiles at the smallfolk when he rides by.
After bowing to Ser Tyron, a Blackwood who'd likely prove a good match, Ser Derrock gathers up his lance and sets himself low. Today he'd exercise more caution as he studied his opponent, and strike fiercely only then, if necessary.

Re: [Day 5, Round 1] Ser Derrock Swann v Ser Tyron Blackwood
Ser Tyron cursed his luck at having drawn Ser Derrock - while the Blackwood knight had the better of most of the field present, even he felt over-matched against the famed tourney knight.
Still, it would not be knightly to show fear, and he resolved to at least break a lance against his illustrious opponent.

Re: [Day 5, Round 1] Ser Derrock Swann v Ser Tyron Blackwood
Ser Derrock rode cautiously, not demonstrating the same ease as he shifted high in his ride the day before. Shoulders low and shield set up, he smirks to himself beneath his helm as Ser Tyron's lance steers clear of a last-second movement of his rounsey, but his own lance shatters against the Blackwood.

As each knight reaches the end of their own lanes, Ser Derrock accepts another lance from an assistant and turns his steed towards Ser Tyron another time. They trot forward, then gallop, but this time the Shieldbreaker's aim is more fierce. He edges forward in his horse another time, but balance favors his spear arm rather than his shield.

Re: [Day 5, Round 1] Ser Derrock Swann v Ser Tyron Blackwood
Ser Derrock smiles as he reaches the end of another tilt. A broken lance, and the Blackwood held his ground. This was a good joust, but it was bound to end soon. With his lance still whole, he pivots his rounsey and sets the gallop a third time, aiming for a vicious blow again, opening his guard but trusting his horsemanship to get the better of Ser Tyron.

Re: [Day 5, Round 3] Ser Derrock Swann v Ser Tyron Blackwood
With a second lance breaking against his shield, Ser Derrock skids to a halt by the end of the tilt, rising his visor and looking back to his adversary.
Ser Tyron seemed hurt, and accepted the help of a squire to get down from his horse. He walked forwards as if a dagger was lodged in his armpit. Swann dismounted as well, and bowed deeply to the Blackwood as the verdict of his victory was announced. "
You rode remarkably well today, Ser. Excellent horsemanship, if I say so myself, and no lack of stamina."
The corners of his eyes wrinkle and edge upward as a smile forges into his stern face, and the Auroch turns to leave, removing his gauntlet and guiding his steed by the reins. He does wave to the crowd and the highborn, but only briefly.

Re: [Day 5, Round 3] Ser Derrock Swann v Ser Tyron Blackwood
Ser Tyron bows to his conqueror, wincing a little but proud of his performance.
The smallfolk cheers at the continued progress of the famed old knight.
