EDIT: I went looking to see just how long ago. That had to have been at least 6 months ago - it was when we were putting together our House Fortune rolls, I think. Long enough ago that I seem to have lost the PMs in a purge, so I can't be precise about when that was...
Pfft, being made to pay for it isn't the same.

So I'll give one more week for people to enroll in the Bartheld Tournement before starting the event. Players can still attend even if they don't want to participate in any of the events. Melee will start first and it will be a 1v1 to first blood (So first person to take an injury or wound). There will than be a 1 day break to give people a chance to recover from an injury before the joust. During that day the wedding between Ser Fendral and Lady Vaelie will take place. Their will also be an opening feast to celebrate the friendship between Davain and Tymon Lannister.

I'll be attending in the peanut gallery. If there was riding or archery, I'd have done those, but gossiping is also in Corrine's skill set.

I will certainly be a spectator. I won't be in the tourney. My people handling is much better than my animal handling.

Re: Game Discussion
so just a quick question. In the map at the begining of the chronicle starter it shows house Marsten on the other side of the vale as house tullison. Should that be switched? or have we house ruled that the locations given in the book on the map for the named houses are where they are at, or are we using he descriptions. because on page 3 it says that all houses but house Marsten are located in the riverlands, so it makes more sense to me for house Tullison and House Marsten to be flipped. (I understand this is a little late in the game for this. I just want to make sure the picture in my head lines up with what the facts on the ground are... )

Re: Game Discussion
Good question. Hmm, I've largely forgotten the precide details, but I think House Marsten's lands are near House Corbray's lands, on the western side of The Vale.
I wasn't aware of the 'all houses are in the Riverlands' thing. I thought we were still corresponding to the lands in the rulebook, i.e. Dulver in the West, Bartheld in the Stormlands etc. House Marsten is definitely still in The Vale.

never mind. my tied eyes misread that last night. they are in proper positions. (ps, I think it woud be a cool / interesting idea if house MArsten had a Moutian path that was too dangerous for trade, but could have people slip between Harts Home and Mountains reach. It could Give dustin a Clandestine way to meet with his son against the wishes of those wiser then him

Since Dunstan is no longer a player, that might be wasted. And Marei is currently causing more than a fair share of trouble at Hartshorn as it is.

Just waiting on a private thread being made public, which should be soon.
I suppose that'll be Kevan's call, regarding Sofia. I'm sure he'll be willing to work something out if you are looking to speak with her.

Re: Game Discussion
Also, people (not me, I suck at it), might want to make a crack at maps for the remaining battles at Wyl?
I can probably run the Dornish at Jorah's battle, just give me a map and we're good to go.
I think reader said something about their tunnel cover being reduced due to Yoren's naval adventures? Said naval battle has no information on it that my quick sweep could uncover btw.

Fortunate/unfortunate thread title. Well done to the players for following a very long running story thread to its bitter conclusion, if this is indeed a conclusion. It is perhaps instead merely the beginning of the end. Some players have physcial evidence to bolster the story, or this may confirm clues hinted at that they discovered earlier. Good mix of investigative work and combat, now the political and human element comes to the fore.
I don't envy you lot the choice in how you resolve this.

Re: Game Discussion
Just warming everyone up for Mushroom's event in the upcoming story.
Event list should hopefully go up in the next few days, I've got it written out in front of me on paper and I'm now typing things up. Wife's birthday tomorrow, so very limited posting.
I've even balanced the warfare/combat Prince v Queen scoring against the non-combat opportunities.
House objectives too at some point soon, by popular request.

You know your family best, but remember they know you too. Do you think any of them would believe that you are a simpleton? Besides, I fear what Corrine's reaction towards me might be. Though she be little, she is fierce. I fear she might already harbor dark feelings towards me. If she thought I had betrayed you... well, I might have to take up permanent residence in Essos - or maybe even Qarth - to escape her anger."
I love it! The assessment of Corrine's potential for ferocity and the Midsummer Night's Dream reference.

Finding the right word for our Varys precursor is tough!
Given the V for Vendetta comparison Nathaniel can be N for "

, "
Narrator Nuisance"
? :;
