Davain Bartheld wrote:Not to mention you have to factor Davain into your decision making. While there good rp reason he wasn't in the tent (leaving the immediate care of Lily to more capable hands) he eventually going to want to question her about what happen or at the very least a report of what happen. Character wise he going to be a big advocate of sending her back home to her father. It's not that he is insensitive to what her father did to her, but without proof or evidence he going to take the side of the lord who has a good reputation over a traumatized girl. He would also suggest sending a raven to inform Lord Daleford of his daughters safty.
Feel free to drop in on the thread IC and bravo for taking the IC course of action.
Nathaniel Mason wrote:True love... yeesh... now it's Nathan's business.
On route home to her Father, Lily throws herself into a stream and drowns out of shame for what happened to her. Her broken and battered body is returned to House Daleford. Yet another child of Lord Daleford meets a grim fate.
Lord Daleford, out of terrible grief for his daughter and the loss of his many sons, throws himself from the battlements of his castle.
Two young people book passage to Braavos.
Life goes on and most people do not even notice.
Pretty sure he said "
to blave"
, nothing about "
true love"

Game back on track = Princess Bride references again I'm afraid.
Look forward to you lot hashing this out IC and deciding on the best (least bad?) course of action.
And how much to reveal to one another! Get those empathy checks going or intrigue one another, you're all doing a good job of keeping the OOC condemnation of an awful situation separate from competing IC ethics and goals.

Theomore's way of doing things does indeed have a tendency to work out nicely for whoever doesn't die in the process.

We've played long enough to get tangled webs like this:

start=10#p90060
Good to see character backstories and in-game history meshing nicely to complicate matters.

Theo has, on a couple of occasions, inadvertently cleared away a problem for me. I like Theo. I don't trust him, but I do like him.
Edited.
And you don't know what your missing.

Theo doesn't take well to thrusting unless he's the one doing it with a girl.

ASOIAF is all about overlapping storylines, no? That, and incest.
Finished one PC submission to Longshore, Darron Greyjoy. Another incoming for Tullison.
Will also prod some of our recent joiner who understandably drifted away during my ill-timed home repair absence (just paid roof repair bill today, only got internal repair bill to pay now!). Will contact these players once objectives and event outline is up, plus first events of story 3.

Congrats on the new job!
We've just been getting back into the swing of things. There are a lot of events going on at various points in the timeline.
Off the top of my sleepy head;
The Bartheld and Drakeson tourneys are about to get started.
Some older business is still being worked through, such as the aftermath of Lily Daleford's rescue. Some people want to send her back to her family, while others believe she fled her home for good reason, and want to find a way to keep her safe from her father.
Various Houses are still angling for control of Market Town.
Theomore Tullison married Floreta Frey, and is forming a banner House.
Some nasty rumours were spread around Hartshorn, leading to allegations of Lord Marsten having clandestine relations with a servant girl. Lord Marsten has acquitted himself in the eyes of Lady Marsten, but the matter of the damaging gossip is unresolved.
Lord Drakeson received a love letter from Lady Kerry Blackwood, which is believed to be a ruse by either Isobel Marsten or soneone else, to lure Baelon into trouble and fracture the delicate peace between Houses Blackwood and Bracken.
Nathan wasted some fools who had it coming.
Ser Loreia met with Ser Myles and the young Lord Blackwood.

Congratulations! Very exciting.
Corrine has covered the major points, all I can add is a slight peak at story 3 as the NPC guest list has been updated.

I'm assuming Loreia and Trelane waited outside the tent? Let me know if that's not the case. Corrine asked for you both back after Nathan left.

No apology needed. Stuff happens.
I was more just checking that Corrine wasn't talking to herself.

Davain, did you request to join the thread? I think you will have to ask Corrine. You can't otherwise.

It is indeed a closed thread. I've been discussing with Davain via PM.

Re: Game Discussion
Something tells me this may become relevant. If not, I want ask all the same since one of our players is a Lannister. How are the Lannisters viewed in this era? Surely not as reviled/distrusted as they were after Robert's Rebellion.Reader wrote:Albeit people might be dubious about the man or woman sitting in a lord's solar/on board one of Ser Tyland Lannister's ships going "
Ah, Lord Drakeson, remember that harrowing night with the Wildfire explosion and vicious fighting in the tunnels? Those were the days, eh?"
Let me know if there's anything missing from the document, think I had a reasonably up to date version. This does indeed exclude plentiful pages of fine detail of border disputes, small fines etc.
