[ooc: His CD is 7, AR 7, Health 2/9 after damage taken]

Ser Kyle Crakehall fails to get his shield up in time to stop Jorah crashing into him with the banging and scraping of metal. Jorah's sword pierces into a narrow gap in Crakehall's splintmail, sinking sickeningly into the joint of his upper arm, causing him to drop his shield and fall back, blood trickling through, the arm dangling uselessly.

(Crakehall takes 7 damage)

Ser Henry frantically tries to recover from being almost totally bowled over by Loreia's charge, swinging his longsword round in a wide arc, attempting to catch his foe on the retreat. He catches her in the arm with the tip of the blade, only just getting in before she moves again.

Ser Kyle Crakehall, motivated by pain and fury, swings his mace at Ser Jorah with an angry roar. A frantic attempt to repay his opponent for wounding his arm. The intense pain in his arm and shoulder make him slow and imprecise though, and the mace barely scrapes Jorah. Grimacing from the pain on the heavy wound, he offers Ser Jorah a yield.

Dunstan's armor prevents any major damage against Ser Adrian's blow, but his ribs do receive a fair ammount of pain. Not one to pay attention to such details, Dunstan smiles, excited about the fighting all around him, and strucks his opponent with his shield. The sheer force of the young Lord sends his down to the ground, and Dunstan follows that with a smack over the shoulder. His mace hits true, and he is certain Ser Adrian felt that blow..

OOC: You'll notice I rolled for knockdown in orokos. I made the mistake of making two attacks in one round(knockdown counts as an attack, ruled in Loreia vs Athelstan). So I replaced it with Aim to replace the extra die in my standard attack with a bonus die.

[OOC: I reread that thread (, right?) and saw no such ruling... there was one round in which (if I am interpreting the editing correctly) you had initially had an attack and a cautious attack, but I saw no knockdowns at all. Knockdowns are not attacks, and can be combined with attacks. From the FAQ:

Q) It says in the book that, in combat, you may only use one of your actions per turn to "
attack"
. It has also been stated here that assisting another character's attack also counts as an attack. However, can you, on the same turn, Attack and: - command your horse to attack? - pull rider from mount? - disarm? - distract? - knockdown? - maneuver? - trample?

A) Several actions you list require greater actions and thus can’t be combined. So you can’t normally combine Pulling a Rider from a Mount, Disarm, or Trample with attacks (however see above for fatigue and/or destiny points). When mounted on a steed trained for war, the steed is assumed to be attacking (hence the increased damage on a Fighting test described on page 159). Do note that you have to spend the lesser action to control a war-trained steed anyway. As for the rest, you can Distract, Knockdown, and Maneuver in addition to making attacks.]

I'm probably causing myself issues, but with a hit of 28, thats 4 DOS for a total of 20 damage. My AR is 9 , so that would 11 damage.
I am however spending a point of fatigue to negate my armour penalty, which reduces the DOS to 3 and therefore 6 damage.

*Oh really? Well by all means, let's go with my initial knockdown move instead. Because with that instead, Hardyng's health gets knocked outta the park at 2 under. He's taking an injury for sure. The knockdown would have succeeded, and I would have kept that 17 for 3 DoS.*

Lord Mallister puts his full force again into charging Ser Jorah, spurred on by his initial hit, and Jorah's spirited retort. He brings his axe down onto Jorah's shoulder with a mighty roar. Dunstan is furious because Ser Adrian's superior fighting skill made him be in a position he is unable to strike him the way he wants. Enraged, he once again uses his brute strength to smack him with a shield, making him fall down. Once he's down, he unleashes a quality blow to his shoulder, trying and succeeding to hit the same spot in his armor he damaged already.

Lesser Action: Knockdown: 5d6k3 15 - 1= 14 vs 12 = success
Effect: +1D while he is on the ground

Lesser Action: : 6d6k4 20 -1= 19
Effect: 3 DoS x 5dmg = 15dmg - 7 = 8 dmg, +1 shattering
