Re: AFK thread
Kinda distracted with RL stuff atm. I know at least one person is waiting for me. (Sorry about that, Yoren can assume Theo re-introduces him if you want to move on with that).

No worries, I'll have to wait for them to be done anyway.

Re: AFK thread
Sorry I've been a bit absent - I'm in the last two weeks of the semester, so I've a LOT of work on my plate - I had a paper due today, another and an exam tomorrow, a third paper on Thursday, and another two exams and a fourth paper next week...
I'm trying to keep up with my threads and not get into too many more;
mechanics-type stuff will probably have to wait until Thursday night or even Friday.

Hey everyone, sorry I didn't get any posts off yesterday, my baby son was being a bit of a nightmare. Hopefully I'll make a stunning return this evening.

I just got my first major paper done, so I'll be able to get some solid posting in this evening. Then it's on to the next project. 6 days till I'm done... for a few weeks.

Sorry to anybody whose thread I didn't get to, will try to wrap various things up tomorrow/Saturday in various threads ahead of Day 3 (if we transition on schedule!).

Wifi terrible at weekend holiday, so day 3 delayed to Sunday/Monday and almost no posting. Very sorry!

I'd like to vote for extending Day 2 a bit longer. I haven't had the time to post regularly this week, and most of my threads are very much in their infancy. It's going to be hard keeping up with events if I'm still waiting for three or more threads to resolve themselves before I know what actions I can reasonably take on day 3.

Re: AFK thread
And I would vote day-switch ASAP because all my threads (except one, and that's waiting for reader to wrap up) were finished days ago.
Only proper way to handle this, IMO, is that the only factor when it comes to day-switch relies wholly upon reader's capacity. Maybe harsh to say it, but we all knew that the plan was to have day 2 wrapped up today. If one doesn't have time to play everything, then try to summarize more?

Re: AFK thread
In this case, the threads are awaiting response from Reader. But no matter. If Reader wants to run a game where we're all on different days, then that's up to him. If it becomes a big enough problem, I'll drop out of the game.

Re: AFK thread
If you PM the thread links to him we could wrap it up tomorrow:) I have three threads still active - but could probably wrap them up tomorrow. So I'd vote for on time Day 3 start.

Re: AFK thread
I'm all for a slight extension - a couple of days, at most. if nothing else Reader needs time to catch up on everything. It's a big job trying to run something like this, and it is important not to push the Narrator too hard... better a slower game than a dead game.
Heck, even the events aren't ready to wrap up yet - or did you think House Marsten just wasn't going to be participating? No, there are things in the background that need to be resolved before those posts can be made.
For those of you who have everything wrapped already, I'm sorry if you have to wait a little - but don't you think it'll make for a better game in the long run?

Re: AFK thread
Speaking as someone who has several threads needing clipping for some time from Reader, I don't think a small delay should be an issue. And we can hardly blame Reader for technical issues he would have no control over.
Perhaps we could start Day 3 on Monday, but continue to work on existing Day 2 threads until they are completed. That happened with a couple of Day 1 threads.

A slow game is better than a dead one, for sure.
Also if a player starts a thread maybe he can close it once done, to save some extra time for reader?

You didn't, and it wasn't interpreted as such.
And I agree that we need to give Reader all the support and patience we can. If each one of us only had two or three threads to worry about, that amounts to twenty or more that Reader needs to worry about.
