Re: AFK thread
I have returned from my holiday, but my muscle ache has muscle ache, so limited posting today. Should be more tomorrow, as I gave myself an extra day off work to recover.

Sorry for the slow posting. My internet went down and it will not be until this Tuesday that the tech is coming out. Hopefully I can get some posts in St work

Re: AFK thread
Holiday was great, thanks - spent a few days with all the family, trying out a bunch of sports &
activities. Many of my muscles are lazy, however, and complain bitterly when they're exerted more than normal.
Still, now I've had a couple of hours of rest, I'm going to see how far I get, saving any big posts for tomorrow.

Glad you had a grand time. Sometimes you forget you had muscles to injure in certain places...
Done for the night - sorry to a few people where I didn't get round to your posts, but I think it's largely ongoing roleplay scenes/finishing touches on intrigues we've resolved already.
Will try very hard to start D9 during Tuesday evening as I'm out on Wednesday night.

Goodnight players - I'm out tomorrow night but feel free to kick off your D9 threads and say your farewells/make your wedding preparations/challenge each other to duels.

Predictably, my twin and I chose it to watch it with our extended family for our 30th birthday!

Re: AFK thread
Way back in high school I was the friar in a production of Much Ado About Nothing. At one point we were doing a rush-through for photos and such for the publicity folks. No one was taking it too seriously. When we got to the big plot-wedding, I did this instead of my actual lines:

I assume gone, as he has been silent for a while and I happened to see recent posts by him in a game on another forum...

Re: AFK thread
He recently answered in our house forum, saying he 'got a little burned out', so he's been taking a break. I don't know if that means he's returning or just informing us. I told him it's just down to us, but I missed him by an hour. I'm just going to keep going.

Coming back and should be Standing as the champion against Ser Benjen Frey according to a recent PM and his roll in the appropriate thread. Assuming he's returned as he sent me some long-term ideas on his character just yesterday.

And I believe Loreia meant it was just down to her and Ser Jorah in the *melee*, rather than the game.
For obvious reasons, I'm not in the melee, hilarious as it would be.
