Such a good game! I've been playing it for a while through early access. Grim but addictive.
Sorry I've been absent, folks. It's been a very busy &
draining few days. I intend to attack the thread mountain tomorrow, once I've had a sleep.

Re: AFK thread
I slept pretty bad last night, and the posting is slowing because of it. Also will be hiking a moutian the next Sunday Monday Tuesday so posting will be limited as well because I have to pack for that.
Planning on wrapping up the Dulver games thread by Wednesday so anyone who wants to compete get your rolls in now

It is excellent, albeit a little grindy. Still, love the art and sound and mechanics generally good fun too.
Theomore - enjoy your cabin in the woods!
Septon - sorry you slept badly (my partner suffers from the same). Enjoy the hike!
Sleeping now, getting to stuff tomorrow morning and night (gf out at a work-ish Burns Supper: I don't do that kind of thing - I play fantasy roleplaying games on message boards instead!).

Re: AFK thread
A little ill (nothing life threatening, don't think it's greyscale!) so posting limited for the next few days, but think it's mainly just wrapping up roleplay and PCs resolving Lord Bracken's joust.

Re: AFK thread
Hope you feel better soon.
I had been planning chats with Brother Kyle and Ser Myles (and anyone else interested in taking part) about the former being brought into House Blackwood as a tutor (and exemplar of a 'Good Bracken') for Lord Benjicot, but as we are winding down I suppose it's too late?
Start of the semester + dealing with stuff that bled over from last semester (finally done with the academic dishonesty cases) + "
reading"
a hundred or so pages of Hegel last week = me not having been too keen on starting new things.

Cheers guys!
Ser Steffon's combat is nearing its end, will try to get to that tomorrow. Both NC trials by combat are pretty near conclusion, so not leaving anyone unsure of their fate!
Baelon - chats with Brother Kyle and Ser Myles can be managed: don't anticipate anything too controversial. Feel free to start them. Good luck with the start of your semester.

Re: AFK thread
Sorry for my lack of posting - this semester is shaping up to be a rough one - some brilliant person thought that a seminar on Hegel sounded fun...

That is a very convoluted way to phrase a not-all-that convoluted idea.
I wonder if there's a translation issue there.

Uh yeah, that reaches the limits of my reading comprehension. At least it makes my work with figures and excelsheets that more appealing in comparison;

Re: AFK thread
Made it back from the home (what a blast!) Got to about 8500 in time for the sun set, practiced setting up camp, putting on crampons and rope Work in the dark and then broke camp and set off back down the mountain so that I could make it to my CAT scan the next morning. It started off a little sketcy then turned into nearly a perfect day for climbing the mountain,

Spectacular photos Septon!
I'll pretend these are sights from Yoren and Loreia's famous voyage in offseason 1.

Should note that I'll be in Glasgow tonight for a meal/concert, so posting will be limited tonight. Hard to do long/IC posts on the train journey there and back.

Re: AFK thread
Hey, Septon. Indeed you did.Septon Arlyn wrote:holy cow! I saw Dyana back on!
And hey, everyone else. It's been a rough patch for me. I know I disappeared, then posted a single message which led to the impression that I was returning (which was my intention at the time), and then disappeared once more. And though I apologize for it, I'm not ashamed.
Too much has happened, and most of it isn't something I particularly want to discuss at length, though you do deserve some explanation, out of respect or for your curiosity's sake alone, and so I shall give some. Between my first absence and this post, I've nearly been dropped of med school, got into finantial issues, lost a job and, most impactful of all, lost someone close to me. While I now wish that I had, at the time, typed a sentence or two so as to not leave anyone hanging, I trust you'll understand that internet, forums, games or any combination thereof were the least things on my mind. Now, some months later and with a fresh mind, or as much as it can be, I found myself turning my thoughts to this cozy corner of the internet once more.
I don't know what has happened around here, and I'd lie if I said I'll carefully read it all, for it's probably a lot. I don't know if there's any space for me still, and it's ok if there isn't. I mostly wanted to say hi. So, hi!

Re: AFK thread
You're always welcome...Dyana hasn't been written out, she's been in a narrative stasis awaiting your return.
Sorry to hear it's been so rough, but I'm very glad you've pulled through okay. Your timing is actually very GOOD in fact, as we're just wrapping up Story 2 now. The events within Story 2 have some consequences, but as far as Dyana is concerned they probably won't affect her directly too much, and there'll be ample opportunity for her to find out about everything in-character (and likewise for you to learn out-of-character) during the 'downtime' period.
So it's all good.

what gwyn said. I know that there have been a few high level recaps made by various players but I'm sure that they would not mind exponsitioning you IC as well.
