Re: AFK thread
We also have a tourney or two more with which to fill time while you write, so I'm not too worried.

Re: AFK thread
Boards exploding in to life today. Suddenly have a heap of PMs and private/public forum posts to get to, plus the two Velaryon events.
Bear with me for the next few days and feel free to double check if I seem to have missed something.

Re: AFK thread
Going to sleep now you sadists.
I was so close to getting my remaining events posted and feeling on top of everything, and now this?
More seriously, appreciate the ongoing enthusiasm for the game.
Some great posts and dramatic moments over the last few days.

Re: AFK thread
Apologies for my absence. Had a rough few days and haven't had much mental energy left. I will be out this evening, but will try to get to the post mountain after I get back tonight.

No worries. Offseason is supposed to be relatively chilled out.
Hope things improving post rough days!

Hooray! Hope studies going well. We can do a quick run down of recent events to help out (and doing this is fun anyway and helps with player recruitment too!).

Moving to the next tedious, expensive stage of home repairs due to roof collapse.
Significantly less available for the next week or so, sorry.

Such is life... I think there's plenty for us to keep ourselves occupied with in the interim.
I hope it's neither too painful nor to expensive...

Brackens and Blackwoods fighting, Lord Blackwood getting assassinated, Prince Aemond feeding a dozen and a half prisoners of war to Vhagar (which Theomore totally did not manipulate him into doing), some village getting raided by Bracken men, then by third party sellswords (whom Theomore totally did not assist), Baelon shooting Athelstan's horse, Corrine shooting Athelstan, Athelstan jumping down a mineshaft, Eoric Tully knights Loreia, some peasants rebels attacking the inn where Prince Aemond and various lords of high status were in...with a cartload full of wildfire....boom! Lord Bracken's daughter tries to seduce Baelon, Dunstan's squire succesfully seduces Lord Bracken's daughter and people think it was Baelon, Raff does sneaky stuff, Nathan impales bandits upon stakes, some maester poisoned a whole village, Raff hires thugs to kill a witness, there was a peasant uprising, we put it down. Every single member of House Marsten embarrassed themselves when trying their hands at writing a peace treaty worthy of the royal seal. Jorah rescues the prince from perishing in the flames (and thus causing the deaths of 17 innocent prisoners of war that Aemond decided to burn in the flames of Vhagar in retaliation for someone else setting the inn on fire), Walton Dulver almost kills Eoric Tully in a sparring match. Lots of people dies (and Theomore is totally not responsible for most of the non-battle deaths)
Oh, and Daveth doesn't love you anymore, because he found someone that is sexier portrait and is at least as badass.
And somehow, Theomore gets the credit for being behind most of it (and he is totally innocent of any alleged wrongdoing as judged by Lord Tully after Ironrod delegated the matter to him on behalf of the king, and Theomore totally did not arrange for that to happen by having a cloak that is black on one side and green on the other and showing him the latter, because Theomore has no such cloak.)
I think those would be the main points
Also, welcome back.

Hm. I thought the peace treaty went okay. How did who embarrass themselves now? I'm kicking myself over missing a chance to gloat over embarrassment here.

Re: AFK thread
I think he was referring to the signing the treaty event, where there where some mistakes made by house marsten (I think they took a 3 influence hit from that) but they also gained an influence from a deal with the Septon , (still have to resolve that as well... I promise been, it's coming lol)
