Re: AFK thread
No worries Dyana - quieter period as offseason gets going.
Adding to the of topic game discussion - has anyone played king of dragon pass? It would be good fun for a round robin too.

Re: AFK thread
Oh, man. I love King of Dragon Pass.
... I'm utterly *terrible* at it, but I love it. I borrowed it years ago from a friend, back when the only way to get a copy was to send a cheque to the guy, and he'd burn you the CD individually (allegedly, anyway. I never actually checked.) I remember that I played it enough to do fairly well on a short game.
Bought it from GOG as soon as they got it in stock. Tried again. Failed almost immediately. Need to try again sometime. Probably once I finally stop being so disorganised and read through the Guide to Glorantha books I got.
My strongest memory: that f*****g Humakti Duck! First blood, indeed.

Work off-site all day tomorrow (on the day many Asian markets come back from New Year Holidays!), then a work dinner, back in action on Friday.

Back in action tomorrow morning - Samurel, Luecian/Tymon and Septon: I've got high priority stuff I know I owe you. Tired after a late night on Thursday.

Lol it happens, I still have lots of formatting and content I'm adding to some of my posts as well...
One thing I can thank dragons dance for, besides the hours of entertainment, is my typing speed has increased dramatically :-)

Sorry for not getting to various threads - I was dragged to a party.
In among Valentine's day with my beloved, I'll try to progress various relevant threads (I've left them all open on my PC to make sure I don't miss too much...).

I don't think anyone here would be too bothered if you took the whole day for said beloved. :;Reader wrote:In among Valentine's day with my beloved, I'll try to progress various relevant threads (I've left them all open on my PC to make sure I don't miss too much...).

She might be bothered if I trail around after her all day. :;

After over a decade I am perhaps best in moderate sized doses.
All joking aside, I appreciate my player base's understanding that I have a professional and personal life!

Got to most people bar septon stuff on offseason. Need to loop back on yoren's offseason intrigue, septon and Eoric Tully with the Coldbrooks. Plus Drakeson/Frey dinner.

Re: AFK thread
Opponents for Lord Redwain's tourney coming soon too, now we know the format. Glad to see these popular this offseason, they're a key part of the setting (first thing I read by GRRM was "
The hedge knight"
, think I'd bought the short story collection for somebody else's piece!).

Some for me as well. Actually, they can probably be the same for both - I don't think we're going to the same tourneys.

Re: AFK thread
Minor indecision about some of the fine detail for the market town event, which should go up tomorrow. Draft written (and indeed saved to boards), just considering broadening out some scoring opportunties.
Then Wyl campaign &
Velaryon events alongside on Sunday/during the week and the offseason will be populated.
Then I can start writing story 3 (its Word Document is a mere 952 words, albeit there's some material in my main spreadsheet). Got too carried away with interesting offseason/epilogue stuff.
